I would have guessed it was when AndyringJohnson6 left but nothing is certain in these trying times
The only thing we can do is fill the gaps of what we don’t know with what we do know.

I’m not sure I have enough toilet paper for that.
@Boomer B I’m assuming by your name that you panic purchased hundreds of rolls of toilet paper. Can you help a brotha out?

I understand people hoarding Purell (which eBay plays a huge part in).

I don’t understand people hoarding TP

I’m surprised they’re still having TPC player down here in front of fans. I’m supposed to go on Sunday but if this is what I have, I’ll stay home and die.

Ultra Music Festival (Tunescribe, this is an EDM festival) canceled this year and declined a refund to the people who bought tickets, which tells me they spent all of the money and didn’t keep enough cash in reserves in order to afford it. Either that or they’re just a really terrible and greedy entity.

I'm supposed to go to JazzFest for the first time end of April. I don't have my hopes up.

NCAA basketball tournament will be played in empty stadiums save for family members and others with connections to the teams.

March Madness, indeed.

Regards,
Chris

Sorry man, we are all out to. I had to send the wife to the local establishments to score some.

Also, I’m not even a “boomer”! I’m gen x. I got the nickname years ago when I was golfing with my buddies and I smoked a drive. One of my buddies yelled out “boomer! “ and the name stuck. I guess it’s better than being called “Slicer” or “Worm Burner”.

Guilty as charged and that's why I stopped myself from wading further into the cesspool. Problem is it can become nearly impossible to avoid when life itself literally is on the line.

My 36 year old son said this to me recently, when we were talking political demographics of the US: "You need to just accept that 40% of the country hates you. They hate what you believe, what you value, how you manage your life. Until you accept that, you'll just keep having frustrating experiences with them."

In the meantime, would one of you on this Board that are apparently close to POTUS, please provide him with the following (from an Atlantic article), given that his attempts to "help" the health professionals with this pandemic included asking them to consider if the flu vaccine would be useful against Covid-19.

Covid-19 is not the flu. We have a vaccine for the flu. We have anti-viral medications designed to treat the flu. We have a sense of what to expect when we catch the flu, and when it’s necessary to seek medical attention. Doctors have experience treating the flu, and tests to help diagnose the flu, right there in the office, while you wait.

Against the new disease, we have none of this. This coronavirus is unknown to our species. Once it breaks into one of our cells, the extent of its spread through the body seems to vary significantly. The experience can slowly progress from the familiar—cough, congestion, fever—to a life-threatening inflammatory response as the virus spreads down into the lungs, filling the airways with fluid. Survivors can have
permanent scarring in the lungs. The virus can also spread into other organs, causing liver damage or gastrointestinal disease. These effects can play out over longer periods than in the flu, sometimes waxing and waning. Some patients have begun to feel better, then fallen critically ill. The disease can be fatal despite receiving optimal medical care.

In all honesty, I may already have it. I’m not feeling so hot today, sir.

Rapidly escalating fever? Dry cough?
Otherwise, it's probably a hangover or allergies.

Not happy that all the purell is sold out. You people will pay dearly when the s hits the fan. Bastards

Case in point here being that you haven't presented yourself as open-minded enough for a reasonable exchange of ideas.

This your opinion. You know nothing about me.

So you're saying the 272 ounces of it I bought 5 weeks ago, is now potentially my retirement hand sanitizer?

Or Hooker.

This response is a bizarre non sequitur. Where the hell do you get the ridiculous notion that I "bash" or "blame" conservatives?! I have nothing against conservatives -- I have friends and relatives who are conservatives. You really ought to examine this persecution complex of yours, it's embarrassing.

I’m not conservative, but you’ve been bashing conservatives lately. Or you’ve been bashing the middle. Take your pick. I can quote posts if you’d like.
