When I was born my father took me to this tall rock and handed me to a religious leader who lifted me up and I saw all the gibbering lunatics and drunk cheering fans and I was told they were my subjects. So yes, GDT is my birthright, I am internet posting royalty you piece of ****.

But also I really like the GDT because it feels like I am watching the game with someone and after my divorce I've found watching the games to be a really lonely experience, participating in the GDT helps me not feel so isolated.

This is like the guy at the comedy club who shouts out “my dog is dead” just as I’m really settling into my 45 minute gold plated schtick about my dog.

And with that, my next 8 planned funny posts about the GDT have been postponed.

My best friend who just died was a big fan of shouting 'my dog is dead' at comedy clubs.

Serious question:

Why does everyone delight so much and feel like it’s such an important birthright to participate in the Gameday Threads?

.

I ask myself this every f***ing sunday

you're divorced??

An experience so great I decided to do it three times. It's great, those two houses would have been such a hassle to clean and stuff, this 1BR apartment is way better.

LOL......and I had nothing to do with it.....somebody fill me in!!!! Who kicked who in the vajayjay? Who pulled whose hair?

Reopen the Political board and make it unmoderated with the only rule that if anyone even suggest any kind of harm toward anyone whether they are a member or not, complete ban from the site.....

we need a romper room......a place people can go to insult each other mercilessly, endlessly

a big skull and crossbones in the entrance

Yeah, a lot of forums I used to go to had a wild west subsection that you have to opt into and the only rules were like 'no porn, no threats of physical attack'.

Suggesting any kind of harm in anyway needs to be banned.....verbal abuse is more than enough

If you're trying to imply I was saying other wise I am going to kick you in the tit.

R6/AJ will always bait everyone and have to get the last word in. He just must. And then after forcing things to get ugly, he’s the one crying to the mods. RW won’t continue with this childish back and forth but many others aren’t aware that there is no light at the end of the tunnel, and others are more combative by nature (no offense RW, but The Dude is pretty laid back, zen.)

You, Andy, calling out RW, who is universally considered to be an outstanding poster who doesn’t cause drama, is about as thick as irony gets.

Go ahead and report this as a “personal attack.” What you consider that to be has always been a total sham. You deserve to get criticized for your approach, just like right you’re doing now.
Put him on ignore like I did. You won't be missing anything worthwhile, that's for damn sure.

I like to leave my boy R6 off of ignore for the same reason I'll occasionally tune in to watch some screaming heads debate TV show.

I like it...it's kind of like Fight Club for geeks.

A place to go to cleanse the soul.....in fact, it would be a good place to hone skills to take elsewhere......like a mental weight room

Does anyone know of any unmoderated message boards out there? I’m interested in seeing what the hell goes on in a place like that

There's a ton of them, but I think what appeals to you here with a "no holds barred room" is you kind of have a face/personality and the fights would feel a little more personal satisfying; in addition, there are a lot of very intelligent posters on here. I've gone to other football forums and been just in shock over how uneducated people are; each post appears to have like a 14 character limit. You rarely see a paragraph.

But I'm not much of an online forum guy besides PatsFans; I bet a lot of people here know where you can go. I'm just guessing you'll disappointed because you'll be fighting against totally unknown, very unintelligent people, or people who are so stuck in their viewpoints on some political or religious forum that they're involve in like 75 debates and there's absolutely no way to even make them flinch.

I, for one, would be more than happy to tell a few folks exactly where they can go, in fact I'd give highly detailed instructions. I'm just concerned @Ian wouldn't appreciate them and ask me to leave the party. But it goes beyond that, truth be told he is a good host, only an immature ingrate disrespects the founder of the feast by doing as they please in his house.
