The famous Jordan Richard school of tacklingBet your money on Delpit. He would be another Patriot early round bust.
He missed 20 tackles in 2019.

I think I will binge drink if Delpit is the pick. The famous Jordan Richard school of tackling
I hope Laviska Shenault is at 23. IMO, this kid has #1 receiver written all over him. & although there are other very good WRs available, none of them have the size/speed/YAC game that he does (I'm assuming the other top receivers will be gone before then, like Lamb and Jeudy). Some WRs I don't want at all, like Tee Higgins. But Shenault has me very interested.
I think it will be OL or another run stuffer , I hope for a wr with some decent speed and ability and a tight end and....and .....and......and
However after seeing how Brady and this years wr's connected, maybe not
I like Tee Higgins. I think all the top receivers will be gone by 23 (Jeudy, Lamb, Shenault & Higgins). Higgins is ridiculously productive, a true 6'4' 215lbs (Pats list Harry at 6'4" 225, I believe the 225, not the 6'4"). Most catches in Clemson history, that says a lot.
That being said, I prefer they take the best PASS CATCHING TE at 23. That is one area that is sorely lacking. Of course, this is all dependent on what they do in Free Agency. If they sign a good pass catching TE and a decent WR, they can focus elsewhere.

My first impression watching Shenault was...he reminded me N'Keal Harry from college highlights. Strong, decisive and powerful WR. If we keep 23rd pick and somehow BB decides to grab another WR ( highly doubtful for me ) he should get one of speedy WR like Ruggs or Reagor who can spread the field and will be a natural replacement for Edelman ( he will be 34 in May ).
I think we still have high hopes on Harry, we will sign a proven, veteran WR and grab WR in draft but not in the first round.Just saying.
Sound like a broken record but when building all the mock drafts I wish we still had our 2nd round pick we are going to miss out on some potential unless there are some trades of picks coming
amen brother!
unless kinlaw or Espinoza falls to us at 23, there just is not enough first round graded talent to stay at 23. We should trade back and pick up a second, third and hopefully a fifth!
four third round picks solves a lot of depth issues.
AJ Epenesa reminds me of Richard Seymour, can play 3-4 DE and more than likely DT in a 4-3 as well as DE too. Would be a great pick if he falls to us.
Lance Z with a mock out yesterday. Look who is available at 23?
Lance Zierlein NFL mock draft 1.0: Raiders pick WR Jerry Jeudy
Don't like our pick. Cesar Ruiz. But, he's got Ruggs, Epenesa, Josh Jones - LT and k. Murray - lb. I'd go Epenesa. But, Ruggs would be hard to pass up. I think Ruggs might break combine 40 yard dash record and that will certainly move him higher up the board.
The Pats need to go OL in the first round. Skill players make no difference if the defense is in the Patriots' backfield.
C Creed Humphrey, Oklahoma will be there at 23.
