I’m curious about Jake Fromm, he seems like a good fit to replace Brady and might fall to us. Two years more of Brady with Fromm as backup, could be a good succession plan.

Fromm is the same player as Stidham. Stidham's issues were that he was not a good fit in Auburn's offense, but i thought he played well at Baylor. No sense taking Fromm if you have Stidham because its not that much (if any) of an upgrade. We have bigger needs and its either Stidham or a Vet FA.

Where's he fromm? :p

He seems like a BB type QB, a winner, tough as nails, accurate long and short, but on the other hand, he's a little short for BB and hasn't been consistent enough. So, only if TB leaves, do we consider him at 23.

I'd like to think we'll see BB carry four quarterbacks for a season when he thinks Brady is wrapping up and really make a competition out of it instead of putting all the chips on a single draft pick like a lot of teams do (e.g., Jets, Bills, Browns, Cards). Like he was probably doing in 2000 even though Bledsoe was supposedly the starter for the next decade.

(This could just be my fantasy/projection. It's the Internet, right?)

Jake Fromm State Farm likes to wear khakis...

Seems like a smart guy with a good football IQ. Good processing skills. Doesn't make many dumb plays. And he's played against the best in terms of what college has to offer. One of the better QBs going through his reads. Probably top 1-3 when it comes to that.

Good release, pretty quick, tight albeit low.

Seen him lead his guys to daylight with some of his passes.

Doesnt shy away from a challenge. Went to UG knowing it wouldn't be easy & stayed to fight for his spot when Fields came through.

Arm isnt awful but it's noticeable he's hesitant to throw vertical & that most likely won't improve next level. Far hash to sidelines, tight windows, he doesnt have the arm but arm strength can be improved. I doubt it all of a sudden becomes a cannon but can improve. Again he'll throw some 9's down the line but accuracy on the deep stuff leaves a lot to be desired.

Feet tend to get stuck in quicksand at times. Josh Allen had & still has the same problem but to his credit he improved even if it was minimal.

Not going to create for you. He needs a script to go off of big time. The mobility & improvisation isnt there. Right now strictly a pocket passer. The farther he gets out of his safe space the worst the odds are the play is successful.

Looks like a classic west coast guy with some spread mix in. I think a dome team would love him more.

Some poor play in bad weather. Bill loves QBs that can make it work in the worst conditions (something totally underrated abt 12) & his hands don't look like they can handle a wet, cold ball on the regular.

He's a guy that needs a lot to go right but also has some legit things going for him. Not sure he's a rebuild QB but rather that needs a big supporting cast. Not sure Smart was the best coach for him even though they've had some success. Good coaching could definitely pull more out of him.

Nah. I like Herbert, first. He can also run...

Then, Eason (NO NOT Tony but Jacob).

Found it a little odd when it was mentioned during the Sugar Bowl that he has no interest in watching the Pro game or follows it at all. Not that this will dictate his ability to perform as a pro one way or another, just simply saying it’s..odd.

Not overly interested....Stidham is better and especially after one year under belt....Fromm is ranked as 5th best QB coming out this year.....he is also a bit on short side at 6 foot 1 1/2, or 6 ‘2 depending on what u read....

This was awesome, thanks!

Curious?

Just admit, you're all Frommosexuals.

Still can't fathom how Fromm beat out Justin Fields for the job. Bet Georgia regrets that one.

I think this kid is underrated. A major winner in college. Has poise under pressure. Delivered in huge games. Doesn't have a rocket arm and isn't super fast. Major sleeper who could thrive with the right coach

He's a combination of Blake Bortles, Tim Rattay, and Cade McNown...he blows

His brother Ethan might have been the best ever from Massachusetts until he smashed up his leg in an accident.

Reminds me of Philip Rivers, without the weird release. Or 19 children.
