Wherever McDaniels lands. Either Cleveland or Carolina. Think about this, this past year was the worst set of receivers Brady had since 2006. Remember the talk of Brady sulking because of having to throw to guys like GAFFney, Doug Gabriel, an aging Troy Brown, Ricochet Caldwell? After that season it was Moss and Gronkowski, Welker and Hernandez for a few years. Clearly Brady was frustrated with having to play with guys who could not play near the same level as him and he's not going to go back to that and I sure as heck don't blame him. Imagine having all world driving skills and your racing a toyota camry? Another factor is Antonio Brown. We know Brown isn't coming back here. TB12 wants Brown and it's just not going to happen here. So cross off the Pats. It's Cleveland or Carolina and we better hope it's Carolina. Cleveland with Tommy, OBJ, Brown, Chubb, landry would be insane.

1) I lived in Northern CA for over 10 years. Living there makes it much, much, much less likely that he would play in Southern California.

2) Also, I suspect that Giselle would prefer the Southeast to FL.

3) To me, the obvious top possibilities are TB, MIA, and CAR (in that order). IND and TEN are also possible.

When Brady signs with someone else in March or April, he'll know where Josh and others land, and also who the patriots have decided to bring back and sign as their top free agents.

San Mateo (near SF) and Los Angeles are 369 miles apart, by car.

Boston is closer to Philadelphia than San Mateo is to LA.

LA might appeal to Giselle and the Chargers do have some appeal, but framing it as a homecoming is a huge stretch.

It depends on what Brady wants. In my eye, there is 2 destinations where QB are not Concrete that if I was him at that age, would love to go play for

1) Dallas, Brady would finally get a O-Line that should be able to defend him, and Have a RB that can carry the load, Play in a dome for all home games, and he could elevate the WR a little bit as long as the O-line holds.
2) Indianapolis, Good O-Line, Decent RB's, Great upcoming team, Lots of games in domes, and have his old buddy kicker around ??

I know most of us want him to come back to NE, but i'm not sure Belichick want's that.

Chargers to me would be horrible because they can't protect the QB, Raiders would be interesting and a great way for then to launch a team in Vegas.

Patriots will always make the most sense.

I thought the Chargers had a very good O-line, but that Rivers just held the ball too long? No?

Seems hard for me to believe he would go play for one his main rivals so that takes our Dolphins and Colts. Both those fan bases have hated him for years and I'm not sure how much they'd welcome a 43 year old rival. (I would have hated for the Pats to get Manning for a couple years)

That only goes so far. At the end of the day you root for laundry. Vikings fans seemed to embrace Favre.

I think he plays here.......or nowhere

The drama needle would be pegged if he played somewhere else......entertaining as hell to go through

Of all the departure rumors I've heard Tennessee is the first that gives me more than a little concern: Vrabel, Henry, opening at QB, some good receivers and tight ends, generally on the upswing.

Not sure what Gisele might think of those uniforms though.

Report just came out that Brady extended 41 million 2 years. Hope it’s true.

Fine moderating. My mistake.

Tennessee is very interesting considering all of the ties to NE

Created a Brady decision bingo while I was bored at work

Ivan—what are you trying to do to us?

Don’t forget a solid O-line.

And their uniforms are trash.

I was following a Curran discussion on Twitter yesterday and someone I the media posted a link to a “ Brady signs 41 million for 2 years. I looked at the time stamp January 9, 2020, and then checked the source, which was Pats.Com, and Rappaport, then came here to see the f it had been posted, which it obviously hadn’t been. I then double checked the time stamp and source and posted the information thinking it was valid. Shortly after that I realized the link was actually to his 2 year deal he signed last August and posted a mea culpa and apologized to people here for the screw up.

I’ve a little confused about the whole thing where he signed a two year contract. But I found this story:
Tom Brady Enters 2019 Season With New Contract

And I think this passage is fairly interesting:

Brady, who has played his entire career for New England, can also become a free agent at the end of this season, though he is unlikely to move teams. Brady told reporters on Monday that the clause is just an acknowledgment that the careers of N.F.L. players tend to be decided year to year.

“It’s really the reality for most guys in the N.F.L., I don’t want to think I’m any different than anyone else,” Brady said. “Football is a tough business. It’s a production business. I’m ready to go this year, and that’s really what matters, and that’s where my focus is. It’s a unique situation I’m in — 20th year with the same team and 42 years old. Pretty much uncharted territory for everybody, and I’m going to go out there and be the best I can this year and see what happens.”
