#Vikings owner Mark Wilf statement on Mike Zimmer and Rick Spielman: "We value Mike and Rick’s leadership and we have every intent of Mike continuing as the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings and Rick leading our football operations, next year and beyond.”

"Every intent" can be a bit weaselly, sometimes. But it's usually a good sign, so Zimmer and Spielman will probably be returning to the Vikings. Rumor has been that a 1st round loss could cost them their jobs. This was probably about quashing that.

The Cowboys made it official Sunday night, announcing shortly after word leaked, that Jason Garrett will not return as their head coach.

Ok...this may actually be worse than what they had lol..

Rams defensive coordinator Wade Phillips has been informed he will not be retained, a person with knowledge of the situation said.

2018 Rams scored 527 2019 Rams scored 394 2018 the Rams allowed 384 2019 the Rams allowed 364 So sure, let’s fire the defensive coordinator

Rams improved in every defensive category this season over last season when everyone still thought he was a defensive genius.

Hmm, I don't remember this take all those years the Patriots have run deep into the playoffs:

How badly must Skippy have burned bridges throughout the league for the way he mis-handled the Indy situation, when Mike McCarthy mach2, Freddie Kitchens' doppelganger, something called Kevin Stefanski, and The Worst WRs Coach in the League all score HC gigs ahead of him?

Don't think it was because of Indy. It was just that the Panthers and G-men moved quickly and McD couldn't see eye to eye with Podesta/Haslam.

???

Two were hired before he interviewed. The third was a setup he wasn't willing to accept.

Congratulations to Jason Garrett, on finding a job quickly.

Jason Garrett will go from coaching against the Giants twice a year to coaching for them.

Garrett has been hired as the Giants’ new offensive coordinator, Ed Werder of ESPN reports.

The 53-year-old Garrett spent the last decade as the Cowboys’ head coach and was their offensive coordinator for four years before that. Now he’ll run the offense on new Giants coach Joe Judge’s staff.
