It's such BS that a team can win in OT by scoring a TD and the other team doesn't get a chance.

I just heard the ref's OT explanation and I'm confused. This is different than in regular season? If the receiving team scores a TD, it's not over? No sudden death?

I think that's the case, and also, no amount of time played at a tie score results in a tie.
