2020 Mock Drafts

Kinda trying to see a good te to draft but nobody jumps out to me but I would be the first to admit I am not speaking from any depth of knowledge. I just think most of our draft will be spent on online and online even though we have a couple on it.
My hope is we go back for another wr , this time with speed , to me dorsett is a safe option but just does not show up enough , time for new blood

Sorry meant to say offensive line and defensive line

there are very few if any tight ends in this draft that will work in our offense.

however this draft is really deep in wide receivers including at least a dozen that could excel in our offense,

Got some obvious needs coming up as well as some contracts that beed to be addressed like Van Noy. Also worry about Gilmore pulling a Revis but it hasn’t happened so we’re fine.

Chung replacement. Yeah, Simmons would be the ultimate replacement. Like Shaq Thompson like good.

RT for sure. Cannon is good but availability hasn’t been there.

See what happens with Thuney. He had a great year.

TE? Blah, some underwear olympics guy is what this board will end up pinning their hopes on. Don’t like Bryant or Pinkney as blockers. Seem more like 3rd or 4th rounders to me. Lets face it, we are spoiled by Gronkowski. My dream would be to put a package together for Goedert and have Dante work with him. Pretty sure Philly will not part with Ertz heir though.

Lot of good wrs in this draft. Should be able to get one before the 5th.

We have 2 more years of Gilmre, don't you worry

I would love to see Duvernay, the speedy WR from Texas. He would really stretch the field and he is a top KR specialist.

Funny you say that. I had time today to make my first mock in a few months, and Duvernay was my target as a high-volume slot guy with serious speed (10.2 in the 100 in HS if I recall).

I didn't bother with a full draft, and I don't think Humphrey is as mobile as we like, but there's a good chance we'll have a shot at some solid players. I REALLY wish we still had that 2nd.

doesn’t he work exclusively out of the slot?

I have only used the DNW mock draft and it seems to be difficult to find any decent OL and DL choices after the first round.......however there seems to be an abundance of WR's and RB's.....does this really reflect the real world ?.

Yeah, I think so. I have no problem taking a T in first and slide Wynn to LG. If TB12 comes back and I hope like hell he does. Just not enough money to keep Thuney. Wynn could also move to RT if Cannon gets hurt.

Be aggressive in 3rd for a speedy WR you identify. IE ..move up

Thuney is the key to Pats Draft. If they can't afford him (he will get big bucks as an UFA) the OL is the #1 priority. Also remember that Karras is an UFA too. I could see an OT or OC taken 1st at #27. Biadasz from Wisconsin would be my guess and move him to LG.

No doubt thuney gets big money elsewhere.

the answer to left guard is to draft Cole van lenen from Wisconsin In the late third or early 4th and move him to left guard,

As for O linemen don't forget Cajuste and Froholdt. They will both have experience with the playbook. I project Cajuste as a RT option for Cannon and Froholdt as a swing G/C.

I agree about cajuste. Before the draft he was a projected second rounder before dropping because of health. I haven’t been able to watch much of froholdt though but I know he was rated highly in the preseason.

He was called for holding to often. Maybe that can be mitigated.

I already have.
