Kontra's going to love this one:

Awful move. It’s going to be hilarious to listen to the Jags fans around here. I can’t imagine they’d have long leashes. You’d think that, with the draft capital they now have, they’d want new blood in the building. But I guess not. Jags gonna Jag.

Im saying that prime JG is 3x better than 42 year old Brady. And BB knew it & Bob Kraft and his sentimality F'd the whole thing up.

If there is one thing that really grinds my gears, its sentimality

It looks as if the Bears are keeping the band together.

#Bears GM Ryan Pace states the obvious at their end-of-season press : QB Mitch Trubisky will his starting QB in 2020. The organization have whole-heartedly supported him.

I actually thinks this makes sense. In 2018 Trubisky had a pretty good year. Its too early to give up on him, especially since they invested a # 2pick overall on him and had to trade up to get him.
I am sure many bears fans will be upset, but for next year its the right thing to do and continuity gives them best chance to take a leap forward. Now if he sucks in 2020..that is a different story

Should have offered the world to Caserio

I suspect Caserio is itching to leave and get GM responsibilities and finally out from under BB's shadow.. They would not have to offer a fortune, just the title and market rate.

He wants his own show. I get it

The #Redskins are making Ron Rivera their new coach and giving him a 5-year deal, sources say. A big commitment.

It's 2 Superblows. The trade was in 2017. They would have won last year with JG. They'd have a better chance of winning this year with JG & they'd have at least another 5 year window if they still had JG.

JG was Walsh to Brady's Montana. He was a perfect fit for this offense. The Pats always thrived on making a move 1 year to early, not one year too late. They strayed badly from the philosophy
& they are going to pay a big price for it. And the frustrating part is that BB knew it & Kraft had to interfere. Just like he did when we lost Parcells. The guy should just lose himself in the Orchids of Asia & let BB run the team.

Would you stop spewing this lie of yours? And just because you insist on repeating it time and again doesn't mean it's magically going to become fact.

Kraft did not interfere when it came to Brady / Garoppolo. Belichick has stated, unequivocally, that the day if Kraft interfered, He would resign as coach.

The fact that you are trying to compare the situation to the Parcells one is laughable and shows that you really don't have the first clue as to what you are talking about.

You’re making my point. Kraft didn't interfere with Milloy, Seymour or Mankins. If he didn't interfere with BB's plan to transition to JG, the Pats window would be open for another 5 to 10 years. It was a colossal mistake & it was entirely attributable to Kraft listening to his heart & not his head.

You know any of this how?? None of us have any idea of the inner workings to the Pats Administration, who decide what and whatever.... Did Felger tell you all of this??

Remember Superbowl LIII and who the QB was ?? Whoever made the decision to keep Brady was a football genius..

Sounds like Dorsey’s out in Cleveland. Perhaps the next stop for McDaniels and Caserio?

John Dorsey is out as the Browns’ GM, per source. Two sides couldn’t come to an agreement on a future re-structure of the organization.

This is potentially huge for the Patriots. It at least opens up the possibility of Caserio/McDaniels going to the Browns as a package deal.

Idiot ownership, though.

Giants requested permission to interview Patriots’ special teams coordinator Joe Judge for their head-coaching vacancy, per source. Other special teams coaches have made jump to HC; Judge could be next to do it.

This one I'm not buying as anything more than an intel operation, until I see firm indications that it might be otherwise.

Browns changing GMs/HCs is like slapping a fresh coat of paint on the Titanic.

Panthers are lining up interviews with Josh McDaniels, Eric Bieniemy and Kevin Stefanski. Hope to get an audience with Matt Rhule. Have already talked to Mike McCarthy and Perry Fewell. That's a smart, streamlined process that could be concluded by this time next week
