You guys really need to start looking on the bright side. We have Patriots football in one week instead of having to wait two weeks for it. Plus, it gives the team more opportunity to practice to get things right. Everything is great.

Is this the most fraudulent Pats team I've ever seen? The easiest schedule in NFL history propped us to 12-4. If we're in any other division, we'd be lucky to make the playoffs.

No matter what happens, Belichick is a fool if he doesn't draft Brady's true successor next year

If they were in the NFC East they would’ve been 14-2. Please.

As bad as the early pick was, Brady gave the "historically great defense" a lead late in the 4th and they let a career backup whip them coming and going.

This team was never going anywhere if the defense ended up being frauds.

If BB didn't shake Flores' hand, he's a Sore losing pos.

How did we go from cleaning these guys clock 43-0 in Miami then losing in Foxboro?
The Miami roster has changed so much since then- it’s almost not the same team.
Also.....we did have Antonio Brown as a WR for that game.....

What makes you think he hasn't done that already. He drafted a kid in this year's draft. Stidham might be the successor.

The pats are done. That's the realization today.

It just isnt their year and it sucks because even an avg offense and the goal is more than in reach.

Every team has to deal with injuries. This year, the Pats had essentially all the injuries and problems on one side of the ball. And, to be blunt, GRONK didn't help by waiting as long as he did to announce his retirement, but even then, the Pats definitely failed to adequately replace him.

I get that Brady’s arm is injured, but with no bye it’s not gonna get better, and it feels like an injury that has taken a long time to recover from, perhaps longer than it should. Do you want to go into next year spending another massive portion of your cap on him when such injuries may be more prone to causing these issues to linger long-term? He’s not bad by any stretch but his age is catching up to him in these smaller sorts of ways that ultimately have a large impact. It wouldn’t be as big of a deal if they had great WRs or a great OL but they don’t have either at the moment. Next year is another year worse re:age but Brady will be more expensive.

I’m not saying I personally believe Brady could or should be let go, I’m just thinking out loud. Lots of factors. If he were to leave, that’s a sizeable amount of money you can use to support his replacement and maybe help extend/re-sign some of the core pieces you need to keep.

as someone else commented earlier sometime in the second or third quarter:
"The Patriots do realize that they're playing a game today, don't they?"
Never mind a HOME game ...with a First Round BYE on the line....again one of worst games in BB and Brady era....just sorry to see Tom go out like this

Sick of all the geniuses here that seem to have delight in proclaiming its All Brady's fault.

I know that people will be pissing and moaning about the offense, but the defense allowed 17 second half points to that Dolphins team.

Never said that and this wasn’t the playoffs.
True, I misinterpreted what you said.

Sorry for being hostile, this loss is infuriating me.

He's "drafted a kid" every year or two.

Stop.

Bill knew Gronk wasn't going to be back. He knew he was going to retire or he'd cut him for not taking a pay cut.

If you want to point a finger at a lack of talent on the field it's BB
