NFL has suspended Josh Gordon indefinitely

That’s got to be a career at this point.

This is a damn shame.

I figured the Pats were in on something here and got a whiff. A shame, really. The kid wasted all that talent and now he is done forever.

This would explain the team cutting him. They must have seen hints of this, which is what most of us had assumed, but still wondered if he couldn’t get through the end of the season. I guess he couldn’t.

Cant imagine he ever plays again, he was given his last chance.

Such a shame.

Wonder if we will get the bleeding heart defense on this board like we saw last year when he did this.

I hope he conquers his demons... but to all those castigating Belichick for not keeping him...

Well that will be it for his nfl career.

Interesting. This time it's apparently PEDs as well as the usual substance abuse stuff.

So what do you know -- apparently unlike many geniuses here, the idiotic, clueless Bill Belichick may have had some idea that something was going on after all when he cut Gordon.

Has a long TD play and is immediately suspended. Coincidence? I think not.

does this surprise anyone?

Sad to see him going down this path, but I guess it was bound to happen.
He is never going to get another chance.
He can at least say he got a SB ring...

I was wondering why he looked so much faster on the field when he was playing for the Seahawks. I guess maybe a little juice here and there may have boosted him a bit. I thought it was just my eyes seeing things that were not there.

There's nothing hilarious about this.

I will forever remember your 2013 season, which is the greatest receiving season I have ever personally witnessed.

Now, please, for the love of all things holy Flash, get some help dude.

Substance abuse has taken away your privilege to play in this league. I hope it doesn't destroy anything more.

Very sad. I thought some of the talk show people had said he was no longer cooperating on his mandatory checks and such, which is a big reason why they let him go.

I don’t see good thing in the future for him.

I don't question the decision as I know they tried to help and gave him every chance in the book.
