Need to give Slater more reps & get the ball in his hands more often

As someone else mentioned. It's baby steps. Getting the running game going will help the passing game open up.

That was me actually. I agree that it is getting better but they will still need to elevate that level to succeed in the playoffs. The frustrating thing is that the pieces are all there to be successful but they rarely execute successfully in sync.

Go with the no huddle and some basic stuff. Help get Sanu, Meyers and Harry more involved in the game.

I don't think they have the trust to run no huddle with so many unknowns. Not much worse than going 3 & out with not even giving the defense 2-3 minutes to rest.

Agree with some of your other points.

Reaction/reaction/reflex time and overall mental acuity degradates with age.

Not ready to say that's one of the reasons for why the offense has slipped

I think it's one of the reasons...along with a myriad of other issues on offense

Yeah, at this point Sanu getting 5o more snaps than Meyers doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense.

On another note, saw that Collins doesn’t even have a quarterback hit since the Browns game. What’s up with that?

Sanu is being used completely differently than Meyers. If you wanna know where his snaps went look at Harry.

The ghosting of Collins is scary

I hear you, and if they’re all hurt there’s not a lot of great solutions, but if this is as effective as he will be with his injury, there’s no benefit in playing him. I’d rather see Meyers.

Did Dorsett play today. Don't remember seeing him. Hopefully, the Dolphins will lay down like sheep for us at the end.

edit. Saw post above. 8 snaps. Not good.

Interesting observation by Dunn about Brady and his issues. He is anything but a hot take artist and for anyone not knowing him a hardcore x/0 person:

I can see where an elbow injury would affect just that.

Not good for him. Good for Harry

Brady did not pad stats in 2007. He had 32 TD's in the 1st half of games and 18 in the 2nd half. Threw a total of 12 passes all year with 1 TD when leading and under 4 minutes to go. Despite popular belief the Patriots did not regularly run up the score on opponents that year. (with a couple exceptions) We all know that Brady could have more passing TD's if that has been a focus. Heck, if the refs had not stolen a TD last week on the Harry TD he would already be tied with Manning. Not an overly important record to have as all of the counting stats will be held by the newest QB's due to rule changes but still one I'd like him to get.

Exactly. This was a myth constructed to throw an asterisk around Brady's achievements. He actually came out of a couple games in the 3rd quarter.

Not only that, but Brady came out of games a lot quicker than Manning did in his 49 TD year, and Brady threw his 50th TD that year in less playing time than Manning threw his 49th.

Lastly, if we're talking about the TD taken away from Harry last week, never forget that Manning's record breaker was a TD where the receiver got one foot in and stepped out of bounds (but the big celebration/ceremony precluded a IR review).

Not a comfortable in the pocket. Rushing his throws....

Schedule got tougher. He was feasting against bad teams. Bad o-lines.

Manning took HGH
