This is something I can get on board with.
But what is the root cause? Not Brady.

Nothing is the root cause here. Literally every facet of the offense is off.

Weird insinuation from the halftime show that Andy Dalton is auditioning to be the Patriots bridge QB next year

But, like, he could be?

If the Bucs just had a defense they would easily be in contention for the 2 or 3 seed in the NFC. Their offense is stacked and Jameis looks like Favre out there.

He’s also playing with an injured elbow and is getting dry humped up and down the field because the right side can’t hold the edge for more than 1.5 seconds.
3rd and long, you can gurantee 3 bengals will be in the backfield before he takes two steps. Josh needs to try some draw plays there and setup 4th downs I think

It's not a "cliff" with Tom. He's still moving well in the pocket and showing good awareness, and still has zip on the ball.

He's just missing throws. Have to think it's mental (poor OL and receivers he doesn't fully trust), and perhaps the elbow is bothering him.

No reason to think he can't play better than he is right now.

No. Dude is ass.

A little unnerving. Pretty apparent it’s not all oline, They’ve been bad but Brady has missed some pretty routine throws.Probably seeing ghosts. Receivers lead the league in drops? Wow, did not know that, what a bad stat to own.

the good? They can improve from the start of the 3rd quarter. They are on pace for 26 points so it’s not as terrible as it looks.

I want to see something different. This isn't going to change with the status quo.

Stidham isn't going to magically make the line play better. Brady has missed some throws-- he's a human being, not a machine. With the terrible line play, he's not being given time to play the way we are used to seeing him play. I think winning this team 6 rings should give him the benefit of the doubt, especially since he's thrown a TD and we're winning.

We, as fans owe Brady that much.

I mean, if it has to happen, you'd probably prefer Cam Newton or Philip Rivers over Dalton. But Dalton seems the more likely candidate to accept the bridge QB role...

This was suppose to be the 'get right' game for the Patriots before their must win game vs a good team next week. Unfortunately that isn't happening right now. Hopefully the 2nd half is better. I'd like to end the regular season on a positive note.

Remember early in the season when we were blowing the doors off the Jets, Dolphins, Steelers, etc?

16-0b they were saying... LMAO

That's why I'm a big believer on who you beat. What is this team's signature win. Philly? Because they suck.

Brady is definitely off today, I think it is more mental than physical. He doesn't trust the O-line or receivers and that is playing into his mind set
Seeing ghosts?

they have one of the better defenses in the league. Jameis is the problem

I haven't posted much this season, but I gotta say that despite many to saying otherwise, I think Brady is definitely on the decline. He is far from the biggest problem on this offense, but I am definitely seeing a definite and pronounced decline in his passing accuracy.

The biggest fallacy is that when a QB starts to lose his arm strength that he starts throwing ducks ala Peyton Manning. Typically, they can still throw down the field with a lot of velocity, but it is their accuracy that goes. Many times, they consistently overthrow receivers down the field because they put too much heat on the ball to overcompensate for their loss of strength.

I know he injured his elbow last week, but I have been seeing this all season. Not just the last few weeks. It has been more pronounced today though.

If Brady is here next year, the Pats are going to have to retool the offense to compensate for his skill set.

Again, I still believe the o-line, lack of TEs, WRs unable to get separation at times, and drops are bigger issues than Brady at this point. But Brady has had worse around him (see 2006) and been able to perform better. A younger Brady could have made this offense at least average.

The Gordon posts are too much. He has four catches with the Seahawks and Harry basically did the same catch this game (albeit called back). Post about DK Metcalf instead, who they could have drafted instead of Joejuan, a healthy scratch all year, and double dipped on receivers.
