Official Post Game Thread - Chiefs Beat the Pats

The Pats need at least 1 deep WR who can beat coverage and catch the damn ball.

Dorsett sucks. I dont care about the bear hug PI because Dorsett would have dropped the pass anyway. The Pats should have cleaned house last year. Gordon, Dorsett adios and reload with new blood.

A.J. Brown was a Big Slot Receiver at Ole Miss who I liked for us Slot Receivers thrive here. He's better than the Trio of Sanu - Meyers and Harry right now. I hope the move on from Sanu and Dorsett in the Off-season Sanu is not worth is paycheck.

Dorsett-yes
Sanu-prob not. Bb has reportable wanted him for years.

AJ Brown has the game to play inside or outside. He’s not stiff. He’s good off the line something that’s a problem with harry. I had brown as the best receiver in the draft followed by the kid from ole miss then hollywood Brown.

A two play sequence encapsulates the offense this season:

3rd.PNG

Meyers drops a 3rd down reception. He separated twice from the Chiefs CB1 in big moments this game (who's quietly having a probowl season) but drops both passes.

4th.PNG

The Chiefs rush 6 vs. a 5 man protection. It's on the QB & WRs to execute.

4th 2.PNG

Edelman is wide open. Brady under pressure doesn't deliver an accurate ball.

The surroundings aren't good enough & the QB can't mask the deficiencies as well as in years past.

Brady passer rating under pressure 49.3 (34th)

2018: 71.2 (21st)
2017: 96.6 (1st)
2016: 84.9 (5th)
2015: 97.1 (2nd)

Divide the blame pie as you desire. Tom & the offense can no longer execute under pressure. Teams will keep bringing more rushers than blockers until they show they can

You can't be serious a Second year Calvin Ridley made Sanu an after thought in the Falcons Offense. Sanu is not a volume catcher and is a shell of what he use to be BB doesn't currently have a Sanu in his prime he has one in his twilight. BB brought questionable goods in the form of Sanu.

I know I'm late to the game, didn't get to see the game as I was travelling yesterday afternoon. Fired up my Sirius app, listened to two plays - Mahomes 48 yd TD to Hardman then Brady's Int on the next play. Bad omen, so I switched back to listening to music.

If he’s injured why play him? The guy looks like a corpse out there. I rather give those snaps to harry.

Why is he playing? Still don’t think he was worth a second rounder.

We have been through this twice now. And you keep asking the same silly question again and again.

Because nobody is at 100% and some are toughing it out more than others. Now that we have 2 tomato can teams and the Bills left you might actually see them sitting him so he can be closer to full speed in the playoffs.

And Gordon caught 2 for 34 last night in a loss and is a superior player to both Dorsett and Sanu but we couldn't use him.

Belichick’s bad drafting has put us in this position. I know some people can’t admit his recent drafts have been bad but facts are facts.

Except it is literally not a fact but opinion.

He looked good against Baltimore. Really good as a matter of fact. Then he suffered a high ankle sprain the next week. I’m not giving up on him yet.

You - BB and McDaniels have no choice our Offense is slooooooowwwwww.

Come on now that’s silly. That’s risking further injury. He might not be as hurt as you think then if it’s a high ankle sprain. 31 total yards in his last 3 games.

I know are going to beat up some sisters of the poor but I'm going get excited.

I looked through the tv copy as well. You also have LaCosse open a couple times in the seam and Brady just doesnt pull the trigger. We will see if there was someone deep on the A22 as the tv copy is **** for piecing this kind of info together.

On first instinct this looked a lot like the continuation of the issues we saw against the Texans with players getting open but it gets dropped, Brady is pressured into a bad throw or sometimes misses the open player and goes to Edelman per default.

Miss field goal, refs, failed 2 point. Should've won that damn game.

I think we all agree the offense has many issues currently. For individual players, Sanu is still pretty low on the worry list.
