You want to know what really sucks?

Spoiled rotten Patriot fans. Go root for Baltimore you f*cking front runners.

Hey Bill, when Thuney becomes a UFA next year move Wynn to his spot and draft a real LT.

I think that must have been the plan all along...right???

The idea of getting a "real left tackle" at the end of the 1st round is...fantasy?

not having a real FB on the practice squad was a huge blunder given how this offense has been emasculated by the lack of both TE and FB
They did, he got hurt.

Thank goodness for our powder puff schedule they still have a chance at a BYE but the offense has regressed and the line has underachieved.

they had one and he got hurt. How many fullbacks do you think are sitting around unemployed? How many are sitting around on other practice squads? 1? Maybe 2?

There just aren’t many guys who play that position these days. Any unemployed veteran (e.g. Ricky Ortiz) is probably proven to be terrible and not worth a roster spot. And there aren’t many, if any, young FB. Anyone on another team’s practice squad is fair game for the Pats to sign but, I don’t think any team is carrying a FB on their PS right now

not sure what your point is TBH. Blocking TE is a much more valid complaint. The Pats had 2 FB under control in September which is 1 or 2 more than other teams

who are these FB you think they should have? Name some guys who they’ve missed out on

Say NE had scored at the buzzer or with very little time left to make it 22-23. PAT to try to go to OT or go for the win right there?

On the one hand the offense might never be able to move it enough to get a FG or better in OT. On the other hand, for the same reason who could trust them to score the two?

Going for 2 would be a horrible decision. Much better chance to get a field goal in OT.

Its the perfect storm.

Poor drafting, counting on FA WRs like Gordon and offensive line issues at the worst time. This whole mess falls directly at the feet of Belichick.

They didn't get one with the 23rd pick in 2018. You can't get a great Qb in the sixth round either...rolls eyes. You can get great players in every round.

I hate getting all conspiratorial but when the refs spotted the ball 1 1/2 yards ahead for a crucial KC first down, and then they didn't overturn it on review, I had to wonder if the design here comes from the NFL.

I mean, that refusal to overturn an obvious blunder also cost the Patriots a needed challenge and a timeout.

Everything stemmed from that blunder.

So there were 4 hideous calls to end the game. Bad spot, Kelce fumble, Harry TD, Dorsett PI. But they seemed to cascade one after another making the refs go from bad to worse to hideous.

OK, so reporters are all over the fact that a hands to the face call against KC was spotted back only 5 yards instead of 10 and KC had to go 2nd and 15 instead of 2nd and 20.

So there's a 5th bad call.

Finishing 13-3 and having a 1st rd bye is pathetic.

We’ll end the reg season against MIA, but we’ll end the season in MIA.

So this crew should be no where near a playoff game unless they buy a ticket.

Different year. They had a top 5 offensive line last year and brady had guys he could trust to be on the right spot.

AND they had the personnel to transition to a power running team.

Make Harry a TE. That's the solution right there. ;^)

Quite honestly, more concerned about Sony Michel. What the? What happened? Burkhead was hitting the hole a ton faster than Michel, who now suddenly has Maroney-disease.

I don’t blame Josh. He’s pulling out all the stops but he doesn’t have the firepower to put up points. We’re getting a spark from flea flickers and halfback option passes. It’s not for lack of trying.

Sony isn’t a good back. He’s average and he only saw 9 snaps last night.
