Hunt is an interesting case. Your right he wasn’t charged with anything, NFL found the video evidence was enough to sit him down. Would they feel the same way about text msgs? I know the media portrayed them as “threatening”, to me I would lean on the side that they were stupid and foolish, threatenings a stretch.

Roethlisberger and Elliott got there respective sit downs for a 'pattern of behavior' which is all the 'precedent' one needs look for, not that precedent matters a damn. How do you think 345 Park Ave views AB's "F**k the NFL...treat black people the worst" posts? Fair to say insinuating the league is racist might be looked at somewhat askance? The point being AB has given the league more than enough rope to hang him with without the NFLPA or its membership giving more than a cursory damn about any such foolishness as the setting of a precedent.

Losing money *and* cap space.

Anything NE pays him on a new contract will count against the cap above and beyond the cap hit from the first contract.
I'm fairly certain that Rosenhaus knows how much cap money is available for the rest of this year to spend on his client here; so as long as that part is understood, then he can have whatever we have left as far as I'm concerned...on whom would we spend it now anyway...more kickers?

AB is dead to BB and Kraft.
To Early-Bird Bobby, almost certainly...

...to Bill, not so much perhaps...

One thing that has bothered me with this entire AB thing is somehow Kraft is being blamed for the entire thing. I have not seen one statement from anyone directly involved that states BB wanted him here, but Kraft over ruled him and said he is gone. Obviously some of the players would like him back, they have been vocal. But not once have I seen a statement from Bill supporting him or wishing the owner would stay out of the team building. Nor have I seen a quote from Kraft stating there is no way we want that psycho here. For all we know Josh convinced BB to bring him in and Bill agreed if he kept his mouth shut, or Bill was told he was a goner after the last tweets and released him to try and save some $$$. We really have no idea and people have simply started an unsubstantiated rumor that it was all Krafts doing.

Bill literally said ask Robert

There were actually zero statements from a legit source that said kraft made the decision against bbs wishes. Just made up speculation.

Bill was asked about one of Antonio's apologies and Bill said talk to Kraft about it. That doesn't say Kraft told him to fire him.

Asked if he’s been keeping an eye on the NFL’s investigation into Brown during his press conference on Wednesday, Belichick deferred to Kraft.

“Yeah, you can just talk to Robert about that,” Belichick said. “I mean, every week you guys ask me about players not on our team, and so every week it’s going to be the same answer.”

That was referring to the investigation into brown after he was released. Someone is being purposely obtuse if you are presenting that as proof that kraft made the decision against bbs wishes.

Fùck Kraft.
Never forget if it weren't for kraft the patriots wouldn't be here with Six SB Lombardys even though he became bend over bob a few years ago he still saved the team from going to st louis.

You are being Obtuse. Every other player BB has let go, his response has always been, I made the best decision for our football team.

This is the only case where BB has said ask Kraft about it. Because clearly it was Kraft who made the decision.

Indeed although that's not part of my disdain for him.

You prove my point. He did NOT say ask kraft about it.

Q: Can you talk about Antonio's roll this weekend?

BB: "Uh, no. I'm not going to get into that. We're going to do what's best for the team like we always do."

My Name is AB (parody of My Name is Luka by Suzanne Vega)

My name is AB
I catch passes and I score
I live to play for you
Yes I think you've seen me before
If you hear something late at night
Some kind of trouble, some kind of fight
Just don't tell Kraft who it was
Just don't tell Kraft who it was
Just don't tell Kraft who it was
It's because I'm touchy feely
And I like to mock the crowd
Maybe it's because I'm crazy
I try to show I'm endowed
I only tweeted threats and lies
But still fans just don't care why
I was told don't tweet anymore
I was told don't tweet anymore
I was told don't tweet anymore
Yes, I think I can obey
I apologized to Kraft again
If you ask that's what I'll say
But it's not your business anyway
I guess I'd like to smoke a bone
With my contract broken, money blown
Just don't ask me on instagram
Just don't ask me on instagram
Just don't ask me on instagram
My name is AB
I just want to ball and score
I live to play with TB
Yes I didn't grope that b*tch before
If I tweet something late at night
Some kind of trouble, some kind of fight
Don't tell Goodell what it was
Just don't tell Kraft what it was
Don't tell Goodell what it was
Cause I'll act out, pretend I'm high
After that, you don't care why
You just don't tweet out anymore
You just don't post **** anymore
You just don't tweet out anymore

You prove my point. He did NOT say ask kraft about it.
Correct. BB told the reporter to ask Kraft about the apology tweet- not the release.

It was about the apology not the actual release.

No it was about the apology

I bolded and underlined the subject of the question asked to Belichick.

The owner's make up the league - - the Commish serves at the behest of the owner's. Thus, a league investigation is a question for an owner, not a head coach.

ChrisR2223 is climbing the wrong tree.

They've won 3 Lombardis in the 5 years since he "bent over". I hope the guy never gets up!!!!
