Two Curran downers re: Brady

I don't blame Brady for being sullen.....hell, I WANT the same toys he wants!

We need to give this man some weapons in the off-season....it's hard to score points when your two best receivers are slot guys in the RZ.

Time to bring AB and Gronk back and fix the problem.

Yadda! Yadda! Yadda! TB holding up Lombardi Number 7.

They begin with Brady? Cut the ****.

Sorry, not afraid to call it like I see it. Brady has not played well as of late, anyone saying he has is deluding themselves. But keep putting all the blame on Newhouse and a couple rookie WRs if it makes you feel better.

I think that's always been TB's MO a bit, he grabbed the mic after the 2011 afccg win and said he sucked, he's smashed the ground with his fists when not scoring TD's in games we were winning by 25+, says he left points on the board in huge blow outs. He wears it on his sleeve.

Been to 9 SBs, league mvps, big game mvps, 2 decades in the league at age 42 they’re 9 n 1 and it’s burning him that the can do better. That’s crazy, Truly a rare player...
Patsfans: But Brady doesn’t take responsibility!!!

My post was tongue-in-cheek, which should be obvious.
It looked too similar and realistic to what most idiot fans would say. Perhaps that why it went over my head.

Brady can be down all he wants, but after watching the Chiefs game tonight, so far except for the Ravens (and who among us doesn't expect the Pats to be more prepared with a better game plan if we face them again), everyone looks eminently beatable in this year's NFL. I know it's taking a long time for the O to round into shape, but it appears we'll have the time to get it figured out in time for the playoffs. The team, especially Brady, just has to keep on keepin' on.
Absolutely.

Just about every season for the last few years, we get to a point where things are looking a little shaky in Foxboro and mediots (as well as many on this Board) begin to say things like, "well, it's finally over for Brady" or "Brady just isn't Brady anymore" or...well, you get the idea.

Then, one way or another December comes along and, yeah, they might even lose a couple of games that month (like, maybe, last year)...but something starts to click...BB, Josh, TB12 and Dante get it figured out.

Still, people are absolutely certain that the Chargers will come into town and whup the Patriots in Foxboro because "everybody says" they "suck," and then they're absolutely, absolutely certain that the Pats can't go into...shudder...Arrowhead and beat the Chiefs and the Mighty Mahomes in the AFCCG. Finally, they're absolutely, absolutely, absolutely sure that the unstoppable Rams with their young, genius HC will win the SB. And, we all know how that turns out.

So, count me among those who think that they just have to "keep on keepin' on."

We all know it can't last forever. But there's no reason to think it's over until it's over.

We won, so nothing else matters. ??? Is that your position? Did you watch the game. I believe that Brady was gifted with 3 dropped interceptions.
And strong-armed young gun Wentz was way worse. When you can't run the ball, can't block anybody, and have a 25-mph howling wind (that we tend to forget about when watching on our comfy couches), offense becomes hard. We're not the Saints, playing in a dome or in warm weather most of the time on the road. That was a game with brutal conditions that made winning ugly the only viable route.

And one of the worst WR corps he’s ever played with aside from the couple of games they had Gordon and Brown. Two rookies (one undrafted), Edelman, and Dorsett most of the season with the worst TE group in the NFL. Yikes. I’d be pissed off too.

And Dorsett can’t even stay on the field

Ha, Tom Brady doesn't need posters here making excuses for him. He is the GOAT.

When people say Trubisky sucks, do they say he doesn't have a good enough TE, WRs, his O-Line isn't giving him enough time? No, they just say he isn't good enough.

It's the nature of the position; you work with what you have and you make everyone around you better. If you don't, you are not long for this league. Brady is nearing the end, maybe he can't do those things anymore. Time will tell.

Apparently, Brady understands what many posters refuse to see. We are 10 games into the season and the Offense has lots and lots and lots of work to do. Brady is used to facing this situation say after Game 3.

We often say to wait until Game 10 or 11 and we will better see what the offense and defense are about. This year, the Offense will hopefully be ready to be effective in the playoffs (without needing to have the opponents drop three interceptions).

I'm a homer; I have confidence that the offense will be ready.

More to the point, I understand that having a bye (and therefore being in the final 8 teams) is a fine place to be. Anything can happen at that point. And the reality is that we are favored to be in the AFC Championship Game yet again, as of now to face the winner of a BALT-KC game.

Brady can certainly make those around him better. For me, that isn't the issue. The question is whether the talent is there for Brady's leadership to be enough to bring us to a Lombardi.

Brady will look much better with Wynn. I am highly confident. When your blind side is killing you, it makes things that much harder.

About this idea that Brady is becoming a little selfish in his later years and may want to prove himself away from Belichick, does the reverse hold true? Will the Patriots cut bait with Brady to show they can win without him?

I don't believe either story line, but if you're going to ask one, you have to ask the other.

I don't know how we could state " decline" when he's been dealing with a swiss cheese Oline all season.

From my big comfy couch saw him making chicken salad out of chicken crap for some of these seasons.. some years it was almost an embarrassment of riches, this year less so.. but he has always figured it out, he does not seem to have the same "fire".. lots of errant passes, could be the receiver or could be #12.. but have said for a while now he does not look the same as he did in the past.

The receivers can be blamed, but the loss of Andrews, Wynn, Gronk and Develin were huge for this team and the O has been playing catch up ever since.. Tom has to figure out a way to develop trust in his younger receivers and McDaniels has to develop a game plan that reflects a quicker offense instead of slow developing plays..

I know the Ravens beat our brains in, but in the next game against them, our run defense will play better & it will be in Foxboro & Wynn will be there to allow Brady to feast on their DBs more.

Please do not embarrass yourself by comparing Brady to Mitch Trubisky.

We have to face the fact he’s 42. The problems on this offense begin and end with Tom Brady. I’m still counting on him having enough pretty good games to lift that Lombardi. The D can overcome a mediocre offense.

Please change your username to Master Yikes. :D

Yes, if the OL line gives Brady 3 seconds, we have no problems. The issue is how the team plays when the QB is pressured.

Two seconds consistently would be nice.

Average run blocking would be nice too.

Wynn is back so let's see how it goes.
