N'Keal Harry's Production

Harry was the first receiver in the entire draft chosen. So I think it's fair to expect something out of the kid. I personally don't expect game breaking stretch speed, but some elite box out 1:1 red zone skills or third down catches, like a poor man's Michael Irvin.

He was the second wr off the board. Ravens took Marquise Brown at 25. Your expectations are still fair though.

Three receptions was the right answer. But there was no poll option for only 18 yards.

In Harry's defense, he did outperform Sanu, 2 catches for 4 yards, on the day.

The entire offense was putrid.

First of all you should stop using labels like "first round pick". If you draft at #32 you have essentially the first pick of the second round.

The only range where "first round pick" matters is among the blue chippers depending on the exact draft year somewhere in the top 8 or top 12. That is where you have the highest density of high potential players. After that it makes no difference -- except for the fifth year option -- if you are a first, second or beginning of third round player.

In terms of Harry. If he can be a solid contributor for his entire contract then his pick at #32 was totally worth it.

I don't agree here. Supremely talented offensive players fall all the time to the late first/early 2nd.

Harry was the 2nd WR taken in the draft. Wrs drafted AFTER him have gone on to jump off the screen. Deebo Samuel looks like a beast YAC, Darious Slayton has 5 Tds, Mclaurin has elite game changing speed, and DK Metcalf looks like a stud all around WR.

Hard to blame any one receiver for a day when we seemingly refused to throw the ball past the line of scrimmage more than a few times.

3 receptions went from 35 to 38 after the game.

Yeah, it was a bad day offensively for sure and that didn’t help.

I wonder if Brady’s ability to see the field is faltering a bit...his semi-regular “oh god NO” throws into the end zone sort of suggest that...

Yep...save for one occasion, those horizontal passes to White were going Nowhere, yet they continued to run them...Hope Dorsett's ok, because he's the Only WR we have with even above-average speed...unbelievable...

Right now I'm giving Brady the benefit of the doubt because it makes a lot of sense that poor pass protection could lead to bad decisions.

Our offense is SOO slow.

Michel- SLOW, no explosion. Can't outrun DEs to the outside
Burkhead- PAINFULLY SLOW
Sanu- Slow
White- Slow
Edelman- creates separation but not from top speed
Harry- Slow
Meyers- Slow
Tight Ends- Embarrassingly slow

We need some SPEED in the open field this offseason!!

If I am not mistaken, Harry has played exactly one NFL game.

Brady needs to go full Kobe/LeBron mode and get AB back.

And Gronkowski too...without them, we're not winning jack feckin sh!t.
The rematch against Baltimore looks like it’s going to happen and that’s not good for the Pats. Baltimore’s D matches up with them well and nobody on O scares them. It’s also going to be a pain in the a*** defending their O.

What does one have to do with the other? But since you mentioned them, the Fecals were missing Howard & Sproles (& Corey Clement)...besides Develin, there was nobody else missing on our side that Bill didn't want missing.

Oh, did we forget about Wynn?

Btw, Sproles is done.

That’s week 11. Let’s see what happens in the postseason.

Hare, meet tortoise. Just have a little patience.

I think its fair to say at this point in time Harry is an absolute bust that will set this franchise back decades.

I like heroin too. Right after the Opioid Hour.
