If you're talking about the play I think you are, Newhouse picked up the wrong rusher.

The first and ONLY sack allowed was on Karras. Instead of focusing on the LB, he turned and focused on the man that was tied up with Mason. This allowed the LB to go wide to Thuney's left and make the sack. If Karras had stayed focused on the LB, he would have been ready for the switch with Thuney so Thuney could pick up the LB.. Newhouse lunged at the LB as the LB went by in a vain attempt, but he'd been tied up with the DE.

I didn’t see Brady’s presser, back in the day he was a guy who was happy with a win, even while striving to obviously improve his game. I hope he hasn’t shifted to be miserable even with a win if the offense doesn’t score 30. There are plenty of teams with worse weapons, so I’m not sure what the issue would be.

I’m sure Brady’s never satisfied, and even less so when his offensive unit looks inept. If he was happy about a poor performance he wouldn’t be Tom Brady- the machine who endlessly works on improving. The entire point of improving is because your performance isn’t where you want it to be.

As to whatever face he brings to the stage every week, well it’s just that- a performance on a stage. Maybe he’s more frustrated than usual, or maybe at 42 he cares less about the media show than he used to.

What was unwarranted? You think Brady was good today? The team was alseep on defense for for the first quarter and a half, was ridiculously undisciplined and gave up several first downs via penalty.
The offense had no answers...red zone ofer, needs trick plays to score tds, and if I'm I'm not mistaken Brady has generated a total of 2 touchdown drives the last 3 games when he has to cross the 50...sorry someo us don't have our Patriots footy pajamas and pom poms out on game day

Does our season come down to Wynn?

No, it doesn't. And Wynn will not magically solve all that ails the NE offense either. But what he should do is stabilize the left side of the line and give Brady a chance to be more efficient and effective, especially on longer developing plays. It'll give the WR's a chance to break away from coverage a bit more. How much of an impact he has on the running game remains to be seen, though. I don't think NE will have a strong running game all season, and that's a scary thought.
