Finding myself rooting FOR Jacoby... and AGAINST Jimmy...

Hes won some games. Big deal.

He earned playing QB on a team with a top defense. His td/int ratio is 2 to 1. George Kittle is one of the best TEs in the game and hes having a terrible season. Everyone is kissing his azz as if hes actually done anything.
He’s 16-2 as a starter. Won his games when Brady was out, joined a 1-10 team and won 5 straight, got hurt last year and that team went 4-12, came back this year and is 8-0.

I don’t know, is that good?

Seems you're making a bigger deal of going out of your way to diss him for no good reason. He's tied for the league lead in completion percentage, is sixth in overall quarterback rating, and is 16-2 as a starter. And all you've got to complain about is his touchdown/interception ratio halfway through the season? His career QBR is 98.6, which tells you a lot more. Maybe you're just another guy made uncomfortable by his GQ looks.

Dissing JG why exactly?

I would take Jimmy G. over Wilson in general, though Wilson has been balling out this year. Jimmy can be somewhat mobile but reads and reacts quickly from the pocket; he really is the closest to Brady with his composure, decision making, and pocket manipulation.

Wilson’s stats are inflated due to the many sacks he takes by always bailing on the pocket and scrambling. He thrives when a play breaks down and he sprints away forward the sideline with the ball...I find that unreliable, and usually a negative against elite defenses. Seattle’s offensive PPG always belies the idea that he’s a dominant QB. Incredibly skilled, yes, but The bottom line is more points gives you the best chance to win. Wilson’s offense (which revolves around him) is never close to as dominant as his stats. That’s why traditional stats like passer rating are old formulas in need to better analysis.

Wilson should be peaking now anyway in his 7th or 8th season. Jimmy has still had less than 20 starts.

I like the best stat of them all. Wins.

Wilson has been to the playoffs all but one year and won at least one playoff game in all of those but one. He also led his team to a SB win and if not for The Butler Did It he could have won two in a row.

When JG gets more into his career he may well surpass RW but he hasn't come close yet. I'd still take Wilson.

Jimmy is a manbun QB.

Perfect for you.

No idea what the hell that's about, but it figures you'd come back with something devoid of factual meaning.

Like youve never worn the bun.
WTF man, no I haven't. My hair's always been short. But by all means, don't let facts get in the way of your weird irrelevancies. o_O

Doesn't matter to me if Jimmy wins or not. I only care about the AFC and want the other leaders in the conference to lose so we have an even better chance at getting HFA and a bye...

KC @ TEN --- TEN win
BUF @ CLE -- CLE win
BAL @ CIN -- CIN win
MIA @ IND -- MIA win

First of all, the confused emoji is my favorite on here. Especially when someone uses it on a post that doesn’t make any sense why they chose that.

Regarding Jimmy, he showed last week he can put up the numbers when he’s given a solid WR like Sanders. Pettis has been a disaster but finally came to life now that the attention is on Sanders.

However, after watching every game, Jimmy’s arm strength is putrid and he throws quite a few ducks. Sideline passes take forever to get there. He also occasionally throws a pass you’d hold your breath to. He needs to work on these things. Other than that, he’s doing well enough for them to win....obviously.

Jimmy's got nice buns for a man, I guess. My wife thinks so.

Why do you think he’s a douche and why don’t you think he’s “all about football”?
Last week he played great, but before then he had 9 tds and 7 picks. He isn’t the reason they are winning games. He looked way better when he played for us. Also there have been reports by zolak and curran that his work ethic was questionable. Zolak called him the worst practice qb we ever had. He goes to San Fran gets 100 mil dollars and then proceeds to take a porn star out to dinner publicly and blow out his acl dancing along the side line for a meaningless extra yard. Nothing against porn stars but if you are the face of a franchise you dont publicly date porn stars even Johnny manziel and baker mayfield know that much.

Best of luck to them both. They learned from the best.

The scorn Jimmy receives from our insecure fanbase is insane.

I like Jimmy. I want him to win. He has regressed that is not being insecure that is a fact. If you need further evidence I suggest turning on Monday night football.

That is Jimmy right now.

I don’t know how he “regressed” unless you’re counting 5 quarters of football here? He’s been inconsistent to an extent but he is also missing his All-Pro TE and recently acquired number one receiver. He definitely has room for improvement but there seems to be a good amount of patriots fans who root for him to fail.

His stats are not good this year that is just a fact. They aren’t winning cause of him. I think you need to separate reality with the idea people are rooting for him to fail. I don’t want him to fail at all. But he isn’t playing well. No one cares about injuries least of all patriots fans. I hope he leads a game winning drive tonight. I hate the seahawks.
