I may need an intervention here... I shall willingly accept counseling from any and all... except maybe fnordcircle, of whose methods I might have concerns... o_O:D

...but unless Jacoby or Jimmy is playing the Pats, shouldn't I/we root for both of them? Pats progeny?

I'm definitely rooting for the Colts to annihilate the Fins this week...

...but, from the moment I saw that this Monday night's game would be Seattle vs. the Niners, I just wanted the Hawks to wipe that smug smile off pretty Jimmy's face.

I'm rooting for both of those guys personally. Seem like good guys and good Pats.

I'm rooting against the Colts for playoffs implications.

I want Brisket to do well, be healthy and the Dolts lose.

I want Jimmy to do well, be healthy and do not care about SF either way.

    Feel the same way Rover.

Jimmy is such a smug pretty boy Tom Brady wannabe. The 49ers coaching staff and their defense has carried his ass through the entire season and with every win he props his pseudo GQ act in front of the camera like he's Hugh Hefner " Hey Baby" Junior. It's going to be a joy to watch that smarmy punk be the 49ers downfall.

Did I trigger any of the Garropolites?

Rooting for Bisquick. health & success. Somebody's gotta win AFC South.
49ers vs SeaHags, Hmmmmm. Like JAG and R Wilson, my man. Might be a MNF w/o Pats worth watching. will root for both until Petey Carroll or somebody else pisses me off.

I'm rooting for both of them.

I was rooting for Hoyer and Mallet, too.

I root for both of them to play well. Both were model Patriots and deserve the success they are having.

I'm rooting against the Colts. Not only for playoff purposes. Not only because they're a smarmy organization that created Deflategate and hung silly banners. But because I'm guessing a few people picked them (because they're playing Miami) in my survivor pool and I want to knock a few more out.

Psychology: you perceive the Niners as a threat (to the Patriots) and Jimmy as a threat (to your heterosexuality) therefore you want them both to suffer.

I like both and want to see them do well, basically because they are ex Pats. But, I can’t ever root for the colts and their ******* crackhead whore loving owner. Really indifferent about the 49ers unless they are playing the Pats.

I like watching ex-Patriots do well, unless it affects us. So, I will root for Jimmy G. and Jacoby unless they are playing against the Pats, or God forbid, unless Jimmy G is going for the perfect 19-0 season we couldn't achieve (!).

I'm a Jimmy G fan, I sincerely hope he goes 17-2 on the season

Jacoby the person I very much root for, he's a great guy. I sincerely hope he gets traded away from that cesspool he's currently in now, and until he does all I can do is root for the person.. the player I want to go 0-16 while he's playing for that organization

Always loved the Niners as a cool team to root for if they’re not playing the Pats, live in the Bay Area now, and love Jimmy G’s game.

Jacoby Brissett plays for the Indianapolis Colts. I don’t know how anyone who has followed the Pats since 2001 can ever root for anyone on that team to succeed under any circumstances.

Few years ago some had a hard time letting Jimmy go. We called them Garropolites. Just a good natured ribbing back and forth.
