They’ll settle out of court, which is usually the case in these proceedings. Quick cash grab.

Exactly. Obviously it's dependent on information that we will never see, but usually these types of civil cases will cost AB more in time and attorney's fees than just writing a check and settling. Sucks if they're innocent, but it's true

Anyone who thinks he's coming back is delusional.
That Tom and Jules love is deep though and what if Kraft thinks he can't win without him.
We almost would need to get beat handidly by Philly for him to come back.

0.0% chance.

Unfortunately I think you're right. An injury or a beat down where the offense struggles to move the ball.

The aggravating thing is that if AB doesn't send that different strokes tweet, his chances of being resigned at the conclusion of this is exponentially greater

Forget the "different strokes" tweet; that ship sailed when Brown tacitly endorsed death threats against Klemko.

That's the one where Brown retweeted something mentioning the death threats and added something like "The system is working"?

I don’t believe he will play here again. I wish it could work but I can’t see it working

Forgot all about that wow
On one hand klemko is contributing to ruining him and I can see why AB is like good he’s getting some backsplash.
But the death threats is whoa

Sweet Fancy Moses

Career Earnings: $70,987,085

Yep....can't wait to see him have the possibility of being back in a Patriots uniform.

Would you consider this a problem with English or a launch problem? Incomprehensible tirade or a tantrum?

At this point, I am HOPING that Goodell will drag this out before putting AB on the exempt list.

If the NFL interviews Brown next week (week 11) and it goes very well (A BIG ASSUMPTION, but who knows...Brown could decide to play along and be coached up by his lawyer)....then the NFL finds that the accusation doesn't have enough substance and lets all teams know that AB is free to sign anywhere in say week 14 or 15...and some AFC contender like Baltimore or KC signs him.

I am hoping this doesn't happen...and don't think it will....

I don’t think either team would sign AB. Maybe Seattle, but I doubt Reid would would put up with mood swings like Tomlin

If we had AB still we’d be a shoe in for the Super Bowl. I miss him.

I was waiting for Brown to play the race card. Up to now, the media has been nearly united in taking anti-Brown positions. But since the media can't ever pass up a social justice cause, and now that Brown has made it a race issue, it'll be VERY interesting to see how the media handles this. Remember, they backed Michael Bennett over a "race thing", Kaepernick over a "race/sjw" thing, and have taken up the "NFL is racist/America is unjust" torch at every corner.......

That wasn’t aimed at the media. That was aimed at getting Goodell and the owners’ collective, (mostly) white buttholes to pucker up. If you’re black and you want people to bend to you, play the race card. You look like a ****in’ idiot, but it’s proven effective time and time again.

There are some dumb athletes and then there is Antonio Brown.
He has a point, although I’m not sure I’d say it’s a race thing in this instance given what we saw happen to Brady.

NFL has taken waaaay long than they’ve needed to to compete this investigation. Inexcusable.
