2017
Cooper Kupp at #69
Or
Failed Panthers DL Kony Ealy at #64

Got to wonder if the Pats scout assigned to locate diminutive shifty white WRs in past seasons had been redeployed in 2017

Kupp had 200yds last gameo_O we have worse WR Scouts in the business. The Homers are going to Implode if N'Keal Hairy flops.

Have we not had a big enough sample size to realize that Dorsett does not stretch the field? All I hear about is his speed but I rarely see him with much separation on deep routes.
People rely too much on what the stopwatch says on Pro Day and too little on what they see on the field. We don’t have anyone who can run by guys. Big plays will depend on matchups and tight throws into coverage.

Sanders is the superior player much Faster than Sanu: Sanders had an injury plus he's much older and is in the last year of his current contract unlike Sanu. I wish we could have had Both our O would be more than set.

The salary cap means every team has to make choices. There are lots of guys I wished we had. But we had to make a choice and Sanu was the correct pick. Did BB the GM pick him, did Brady pick him? Who knows, and I don't care, we got the right guy. With Harry, Meyers and Olszewski learning as well, we are all set. Need a TE, not E Sanders.

Bledsoe's ridiculous throw to Sanu says it all the Guy was never was a Deep threat but we are making into one and wonder why he couldn't track the Football.

Stats or wins?

Post trades:

Niners 2-0
Pats 1-1

Trigger activated

It's pretty ridiculous to declare which trade was better after 2 games either way.

You calling people Homers is hilarious. These "homers" are 1000X the posters you are. Then again, all you do is insult everyone.

Hey, don't forget about the near-unmatched formatting skills (Off The Grid still wins there).

Hey, Chicken Little is posting again!!

First two games with the NEP:

Josh Gordon 2018 - 4 receptions, 82 yards.

Mohammed Sanu 2019 - 12 receptions, 104 yards.

12 is bigger than 4
But
20.5 is bigger than 8.67

Dude might have 15 catches against that atrocious eagles secondary.

My post wasn't meant to disparage Gordon, but to highlight Sanu's apparent ability to click with and obtain Brady's trust quickly.

To think that almost 2 months ago we had the potential to dress JE11, Demaryius Thomas, Josh Gordon, and Antonio Brown at WR, but chose to keep Izzo, LaCosse, Gunner on the roster instead.

What's done is done, but I don't see the running game improving like last year even with Wynn back, and unless Harry becomes an instant deep threat option, the passing game is too one-dimensional.

Think we can agree that we can pour cold water on the D carrying games. Fortunately 1st half schedule was easy enough to allow an 8-0 start, but imo the next 4 games present enough of a challenge the team could easily go 2-2. Regardless, playoffs will be tough with current team make up.

2nd round pick for Sanu was way too much.

Would’ve rather had Sanders. Pats have had 2 more chances to get him after the offer sheet in 2013 but keep passing on him.

Sanders is a better player than Sanu. There’s no arguing that.

Sanu doesn't have be anyone but Sanu. J.Mac & TB will get out his best.

Sanu never had 1000yds receiving but the Homers:rolleyes: would tell he's a better player than Sanders who have done it three times already.

I’d be very surprised to see someone with a straight face say Sanu is better.

That's the ONLY thing those two have in common.
The cat dude is probably the most ridiculous poster on this board.
BTW, where the HELL is OTG?

I don't think any reasonable fan will say Sanu is a better receiver but they could argue he represents better value (age, contract status and durability) than Sanders.
