Those throws to Edelman and White were vintage Brady. Absolute ****ing beauties.
He was impeccable timing wise on that throw to white kn sideline and had pulled in the extra blocker moments before the snap. A still got it play........has also looked better scrambling and making something from a would be sack at least twice.

Pat's defense and offense seem to have settled down and figured out the ravens

Idk about the offense settling down. Have to do a better job in the red zone. This offense is still a concern. Having wynn back will stabilize the line and maybe give brady extra time but these guys have to make plays.

The Pats are overcoming the Ravens AND the Officials thanks to the 2 turnovers. The Officials have had their whistles in their pockets for the Ravens with the exception of the egregious hit to the head on Watson..

The correct call was taking the 3 points since they spotted the ball out at the 1 yard line.. Granted, they could have lined up spread out to see if the Ravens clogged the middle and if they didn't, send Brady on the sneak, but with no more time outs, it makes changing things up without taking a Delay of Game penalty tough..

Gotta love how resilient this team is. What a fantastic bounce back. Thanks to our D and our STs and hey, our offense had a couple of moments too.
If our offense had gotten a few first downs at 10-0, I think the defense would have rebounded at that point. It take a little while for coaching adjustments (and Hightower's yelling) to sink in. Hopefully the half will give us even more opportunities to look for ways to outflank the Ravens.

We also need to clean up with penalties. We killed a potential touchdown before the half with that holding and that offsides on the first Ravens score cost us four points.

So, after the disaster that was the first 20 minutes, the Patriots settled, shut down the Ravens and now have their opportunity to take the lead and never look back. Unlike some fans, thank **** the professionals don't panic.

Damn right. Belichick has 300 wins. Fans have Zero.

Played an AWFUL first, bounced back. These boys need to learn to take a hit and get back up. So far no one, besides the Bills, has punched us in the mouth. Need a little diversity and a challenge, good for em.

March down and score first drive, take this game over and beat these Baltimore pieces of s***

Maybe the defense was too hyped up... They adjusted

You’re an absolute MORON if you think the right call there is to go for it, lol.

That’s a bit harsh but taking the points there was the right call, to keep the momentum, especially knowing that you get the ball again after halftime. Just so unfortunate that White tripped over his own feet. They just need to find a way to protect Brady more consistently off of the edge and they can move the ball on this Raven’s D. Got to stop settling for FGs in the second half.

I’m wondering if Jamie Collins wasn’t resorting to his old ways in the first quarter… Anybody have any insight on that?

I don't think Newhouse should ever see the field again. There's got to be other options. Could Thuney play centre? Put Karros at left tackle maybe.
That isn’t the answer, but I bet BB and staff look REAL hard at options. I am not as down on #72 because we knew he wasn’t an all pro coming in. Having said that, we need better production to give the team its best chance.

The kicker looks good

When its 18 yards.

That last drive gives me more hope for the offense. They are finally throwing the ball down the field AND getting results. Also it opens up the underneath a bit.

This is all about pass protection.

Wynn coming back will have an enormous effect on the offense. That full blitz which led to intentional grounding is a TD if Brady has 1-2 more secs.

Ravens are doubling Jules in passing situations. We need to go to others.

Sanu having a great game so far.

Dorsett has to give us more. 1 catch for 6 yards thus far.

I agree with you on Newhouse he absolutely positively sucks.

A few half time thoughts:

1. as bad a start as would possibly happen, yet we are still in the game.

2. Defense has played much better the last 2 series.

3. The offense has moved the ball a little better as the game has gone on, but penalties are killing them

4. The kicker looks good

7. Nice to have a real game when I expected a rout.

3. This.

im glad Hightower lit up the defense, they deserved it.

remember when we thought it was about to be 24-0...? I'll take 17-13

I remember thinking I'd be happy with 17-7 going into half and us getting the ball with a chance to get within 1 score. This is a great position to be in when you've given up 155 rushing yards by half time and have one actual good drive offensively
