They have 3 losses already. They have Watson who's amazing but I don't think you can tell much by this game.

The NFL has botched PI worse this year than last. The in gane standard differs from team to team.

Jags have had legitimate PI beefs today. A tictac offensive call against that negated a catch on the 3. Looked like a few obvious missed calls against the Texans as well.

And the announcers have discussed coaches not challenging because NY basically refuses to overturn the call on the field.

**not saying refs are changing this game, but the PI standard hasn't even been in the realm of consistent.

If as NFL media we can debate and openly question why a certain player, coach or GM keeps their job despite consistently blowing at that job, why isn’t that same exercise done weekly for game official Clete Blakeman? He keeps being blindingly poo-poo without consequence.

If as NFL media we can debate and openly question why a certain player, coach or GM keeps their job despite consistently blowing at that job, why isn’t that same exercise done weekly for game official Clete Blakeman? He keeps being blindingly poo-poo without consequence.

Because in most cases it is not Blakeman making a call by himself but reacting to another judge throwing a flag.

As long as there are not more competent backup refs nothing will happen. Just remember how awful the replacement refs looked.

One of those days he will pick up yet another serious injury and it will be nobody elses' fault than his and BoB's. Not much sympathy
