Great pickup for the hawks, they can really use those 17 catches they’ll be getting from him this year
They've lost confidence in Metcalf. Obviously.

I mean once he gets over his injuries he could be a good fit for the Seahawks. He will be able to do more of what made him a star years ago which is be a deep option and win contested balls.

He never truly was a great fit in this offense because even when he was free deep Brady often went to higher percentage options.

Which is too bad. Would have been a great story.

The guy really doesn’t move the needle much anymore. A solid possession receiver and good 50/50 ball guy but not a game breaker anymore. There’s a reason we let him walk and another 20 some odd teams passed on him.

That move has the potential to improve a team like SEA.

sure

This is great new for us. We gain $1M in cap space, and a player that we didn't want is going to the NFC, rather than to one of our competitors.

Folks couldn't understand why we didn't want him as one of our 6 WR's. Is the situation the same in SEA. Did they have 5 other WR's that they liked.

Would we really have been giving up on Edelman if we kept Gordon?

Josh is now a Seachicken.

Huh?

Good luck to Flash and nice that he joined An Nfc team and not An Afc one...

May be a good offense for him. That he dropped so far on the waiver wire makes me think there are some big issues that aren't public right now. As some had pointed out, just signing him or picking him up on waivers for half a season would likely get you a comp pick. Miami, in particular, has gone to far lengths for draft picks, even mid-late ones.

Good spot for Gordon.

A run first team with a great mobile QB who has a cannon.

Ds need to respect the run, so I see a bunch of Wilson scrambles and tossing up 50/50 balls to Gordon in single coverage.

Sucks the Jets passed on him... but yeah we have enough headaches I suppose.

I think the big issues are the inability to catch slants and the lack of speed.

Loved the guy but, he’s gone to a city where there are, like, 300 cannibas stores. I dunno, man.
300 is a conservative estimate.

I'm in SEA once a month and my god....dubage is everywhere.

Maybe next year?

Miami is expected to buyers in free agency though, so they likely wouldn't get that compensatory pick. Ya need to lose more in free agency than you gain to get the comp pick.

Once again, see below. Someone said it was Baltimore. I wouldn't intentionally lie.

Probably a fake Schefter on Twitter. There are lots of those.
