Usually teams that lose the super Bowl have trouble getting back to the playoffs the next year. Patriots actually won their 6th Lombardi while the Eagles were one bad clunk-clunk no good field goal away from being one and done. Since the Eagles won SB 52, they have gone 13-12 while the Patriots have gone 21-5....
Eagles are living on Glory Days and it got old.....

I am enjoying the meltdown every which way....

Funny thing is, they never should have won that SB anyways. Refs helped them a ton so it isn’t even like they dominated. It was a joke of a SB up there with 42 and the Tyree play o line holding.

The cumulative record of the teams that the Bills have beaten is something like 5-27 (pretty sure that overall I saw that it was 12-27 altogether so take out the Pats and those are the teams they've won against). Jets, Cinci, Miami, Giants, and Titans. And they aren't blowing people out. They're +30 in points, +36 in their wins against sh!t teams. They have some losses up their sleeves.

But they stole our first number 6, and robbed us of a repeat and a three peat.. (4 peat?)

I don't like them anymore for that. (and they used to be my second team. I adopted them the year Grogan broke his leg, because I wanted a rooting interest. I picked them because they were in the NFC and I was 13 and thought the literal bird eagles were cool and because of Boston College.

Then they went on a tear and made the Super Bowl, so my young self started and held on to a fondness of them and their uniforms all the way until SB 51 ( I would have rooted for them in any SB they were playing against any other team)

Now I have disowned them.

I also adopted the Eagles during the 1990-91 season because I lived in D.C. with many Eagle fan buddies and couldn't watch the Pats anyway. Cunningham, Reggie White, etc...great teams in those days. I also adopted the Redskins in 1991-1992....fun team back then with Rypien, Monk, the Posse...etc....
