Who cares about the Jets?

I don't care about the Jets.

I do, however, care a great deal about player safety and it sure looks like the Jets have behaved with extreme recklessness in that regard.

Oooooh, that Timothy Greenberg really screwed the Jets - - - we're gonna get Psycho Tom Monday Night!!!!!

Tom really seems annoyed. I can't imagine him making up the green screen claim since it would be easily verifiable. He got played and isn't happy (top spa) about it.

So they didnt send Brady and his reps the final scene / the Brady camp didnt ask to see it for final approval ?

I am sorry someone in his camp screwed that one up.

It's seems they did not.

I don't think the cast has final say in terms of what stays or goes on the cutting room floor

It's seems they did not.

I don't think the cast has final say in terms of what stays or goes on the cutting room floor

If Tom ****ing Brady agrees to a cameo you get something written down that he gets final approval especially if an alleged green screen is involved.

If his camp failed to do that then it is really not so much on the director or producers of the show.

Agreed. It's still slimy of them to subsequently put in that backdrop..........

Especially with the timing of the show's airing and the director being a huge Jets fan.

I didnt see the show yet so I dont know about how much of the sign in front of the store could have been adjusted without taking away from the show.

But I agree. I dont understand how the Asian lettering on the sign. made it into the live version. Thats the one thing where this becomes a clear connection.

To.be honest I found it funny but them again I am not Kraft. I'd still blame Brady's camp most about not protecting Tom against this situation any better.

And they would not have had Brady there for what seems like a crucial scene that sets up the motivation of going into that place for the main protagonist.

It is not like Brady really got anything out of it. It is a cameo..

Just to give you all some insight. I live in California and also work in the film business. I can almost guarantee how this went down. This was written forever ago, and shot most likely before the Kraft incident went down or after it doesn’t really matter. They filmed Brady in front of a green screen. Told him the joke was about him going to a place that helped him win six Super Bowls and Then the producers and director saw an opportunity to get their show some publicity and they screwed him. They digitally made the background into a replica of krafts asian massage parlor. They couldn’t resist the free publicity for the show and the eyeballs it would create for views on that scene. Anyways I’m sure Brady’s agent is raising hell behind the scenes.

Anything making fun of Kraft is good with me. The lack of spine with the league in the past and the hypocrisy this year earned that much.

After reading the Vanity fair piece on the spa situation, I really feel for the guy. Much more sympathetic view of the incident.

I agree there is no way tom was involved in this. You don’t publicly humiliate a guy who has paid you 200 million dollars and whom you rent space from (probably for pennies on the dollar) for you current business venture. Much more likely Hollywood screwed him. My bet is we won’t see Brady doing anymore cameos for awhile unless they are with huge patriots fans like mark Wahlberg who have enough power in the business to make sure something like this would never happen again.
