Pretty windy. I didnt have rain gear. I got soaked walking to the stadium then the temp dropped and it turned to snow. I shivered almost uncontrollably. It's the coldest I ever felt in my life....left at halftime and stayed at the Comfort Inn in Foxboro and watched the 2nd half there. Not a fond memory. At least we kicked their asz
4pmI watched that game from my house in Shenzhen, China. I don’t remember if it was a 1 PM or 4 PM game but China is 12 hours ahead of EDT so it was 1 AM or 4 AM there. I woke up right before the game and put on gamepass and all of a sudden I see all this snow. I thought it was a video from a previous winter game. I had to text my dad so see if it was really snowing there in October.
Sat through many a frozen, rain/snow ridden games, and I both appreciate and envy the folks who made it out there, and for other games like the snow plow game and the frozen Saints game too. Also, paging @Actual Pats Fan
I got offered tickets to that game and I am so glad i didn't go. I heard it was the most miserable game from anyone who went. Nothing like freezing temps and snow after a good soak in a cold rain.
I went to a game vs. the Jaguars during the '03 season, IIRC. We won, but man...I was frozen AF....post-game..all I wanted to do was run back to the parking lot to start up the car...and put the heat on full blast.
It is why I never go to Gillette after November anymore...just ain't no fun freezing for 3.5 hours...especially during those TV time outs....
That feels right. I would stay up late for the 1 AM games and get up early for the 4 AM games and this reminded me more of a get up early game.
Funny, I’m kind of the opposite. I skip some regular season games here and there, especially when the weather is bad, but I never miss a playoff game no matter what. It’s caused me pain but it’s been worth it.I went to a game vs. the Jaguars during the '03 season, IIRC.
