he might go off soon if they lose another game

While Owens is saying all the right things, he stood in the corner of the locker room and steamed after Sunday's loss. He talked softly to a few players and didn't look at any reporters as he got dressed.

Owens takes a lot of pride in a game like this, especially when he plays on the same field with one of the top receivers in the game.

As Owens walked toward his car following his news conference, he was asked why he didn't talk about Moss?

"You're testing my patience," he said.

I don't like TO at all but some people in the media need to just get some sense slapped in them. You just lost a "big" game and all reporters want to talk about is another receiver. I would be heavily annoyed as well. I know it's their job and all but we're all human and continuously asking about something that someone has expressed they are not interested in talking about is annoying to any human and testing any man's patience

Why is it 90% of head-cases are WRs? Steve Smith is worse in throwing sideline tandrums, if you ask me. And on more than one occasion, he's thrown his OC under a bus. And yes-he has the dropsies too.

I think Owens behaved pretty well. Of course he was pissed that they lost. Wouldn't you be?

Considering he was the one that brought up Moss and the whole "original 81" crap, he could have at least answered some questions after the game.

Media should get off his stick. He had a good game overall..and its not Moss verse TO. Both were played differently..2 different offenses and we had the ball for 3/4ths of the game lol

that was my point as well...he coined the whole "other 81" stuff. had he said no comment on tuesday without that stupid post sign hanging off his locker no one wouldve asked him about it.and yesterday when asked he said he wanted to avoid all those quetions because its a team game and it doesnt matter..

His performance in Buffalo was a huge embarrassment both on the field and on the sidelines.

WR and Cornerbacks.

Coincidentally, those are the two positions that, year-in-year-out, consistently score the lowest on the Wonderlic test.

It's a fair question. He did say "I'll take questions after the game". Well, you can't cry "next question" when they do come knocking after the game.

What a d!ck :singing:

I firmly believe media/paparazzi (and our public thirst for it) is generally out of line, but...

This was the guy who gave a press conference doing shirtless sit-ups in his drive-way, etc. He brings it on himself deliberately and intentionally. Picking times to be a poor sport or to try to call time-outs (unless his mom died or something truly drastic) is simply bratty behavior.

It's not quite like the adage 'just because she's dressed that way...'

I'm not a fan of his, but I've always tried to see things from what I think may be his perspective. It's prolly too early to jump to conclusions, but his demeanor the past couple of games is beginning to ring familiar.
