Really? There’s a big button called “Block Contact” on your phone, but she paid her her attorney to write a letter to the NFL and Patriots (but not actual law enforcement) to tell him to not to contact her?
NOT HIM,NOT HER, NOT LAWYERS!!
THE PATS TOLD HIM NOT TO. (You know, the ones who he worked for)

Uhg.

Why do I torture myself and come back to this inane thread,
I don't even care anymore.
He's gone, not coming back.

Enjoy

I feel like I'm rubbernecking at a 10,000+ post pileup.

It's already blown over. Media is just discussing now where AB lands next. Kraft already blew his load.
Wad.......... is the correct Patriot term (Maroney)

Read the post I was referring to.

on a serious note, what is actually going to happen to AB this year you think? NFL is investigating an allegation? So what next? They can't put him on the exempt list because he's a free agent..so what do they come back with?...worst case 4-6 week ban, then any team can sign him for the play-off run? If it does go to trial, it would be a good year, so the league can't ban him until trial is over..or can they?
It looks more and more foolish for Kraft to had cut him when he did, he wasn't acting up on the field or in the locker room, and teammates accepted him from all accounts. I really think Kraft thought he could save the $9M by cutting him a few days before the first guarantee payment was to be made and he didn't have the patience to see this blow over...as it would have.

It literally died down because hes not on the pats anymore

Shockingly if you're a dynasty of unreal proportions people enjoy talking about you.

Seems like chicken and egg. NFL won’t really investigate or decide punishment until he’s on a roster. Teams don’t want him on their roster because they don’t know his punishment or how long he’s on Exempt List, if he is indeed put on the List.

Please put me out of my misery and lock this thread. Been avoiding it but it is hard to do when it keeps going to the top of the list. Same old phony Pats fan posters *****ing and crying all day and night.

I believe Massage Parlor Bob blew his load well before this fiasco.

Why no investigation of Brown when he threw furniture off a balcony last year (you already know the answer to that question.) So much concern about the well being for others and his threatening behavior now?? Article SPECIFICALLY says in headline “sued and accused” but no investigation while he was a Steeler. He is accused of nearly hitting a toddler during a domestic dispute. You can be sure the league swept this under the rug.

You see, it’s about the Patriots always getting the sht end of the stick when it comes to league issues involving justice. Based on this precedent, they shouldn’t be eating a sht sandwich, but the combination of Fraudger and Orchid Bob always ends well for the other 31.

Use Ignore Thread option. Ironically this is the most “*****ing and crying” post you’ll find in over 10,000.

Completely agree. Unfortunately NFL’s outrage is driven by the media. E.g. Al-jazeera’s breakthrough story on Peyton never caught on with US media so NFL ignored if. And conversely now that the media was making such a big deal about the original nonsense accusation and then followed with some dirt digging / character assassination campaign by SI, NFL started talking about how seriously they are taking this. And Kraft doesn’t have the steel of Jones who fought for Elliott all the way. Kraft’s reputation as a bulldog negotiator is in tatters, after his Deflategate and AB saga handling.

Bottom line, we all instinctively trust BB’s judgment on personnel. And the fact he didn’t want to let AB go, and did it on Kraft’s behest, is very troubling.

When the rape lawsuit story broke, it was a whirlwind few days of coverage. During that time the Patriots players said all the right things, and from all written accounts, embraced Brown as a teammate. Belichick said it was a league issue in obvious Belichick fashion.

Then there was “a leak” that the Patriots wouldn’t have signed Brown if they’d known about the lawsuit. That may very well be true, but it had “my hands are clean” Bob written all over it. Trying to distance himself from everything and stay above the fray after his own embarrassing offseason shenanigans. Seems like a better idea just to STFU about the signing rather than throwing a new player under the bus because of allegations. It’s clear that the Massage Parlor King has his finger on the trigger and was just waiting to cut bait.

And if so, good for him. If I’m almost 80 and my wife is gone, I’m going to consider going to a similar place to get the “full body massage.

Is it fair to compare his case with the multiple accusations of sexual misconduct and rape, with a case of the national news spotlight blasting on his stupid attempt to threaten the victim? Personally, I don’t believe so.

I agree as a septuagenarian, and my wife was gone, may consider the same thing. It is a very difficult thing to all of a sudden be alone devoid of human contact.. know a few men who when this happens their life completely changes and they do things they would never have thought of doing.. being old and alone is difficult.

The Bob Kraft thing is getting very tired...
