. I think Brady is a bit pissed off with him since the summer after his contract.
The people saying F Kraft are too stupid for their own good. There wouldn’t be a New England Patriots team to root for if it wasn’t for him.
I haven't seen Kraft take a stand of any sort of this situation publically. Everything else is nothing but conjecture.I am not with them, but I think most are pointing out the hypocrisy with Kraft taking a moral stand now. When his image was that of going to the holy land and acting all pious, he could take any stand he wanted, but after his rub and tug experience, I think he can come off that perch. I think Brady is a bit pissed off with him since the summer after his contract. Brady has been passively attacking the team any chance he gets now.
Agreed. And he lost his "best behavior" less than a week later. He was a good team mate for a FREAKING WEEK!
I wouldn't pay him if I could get out of it legally, and neither should the Pats. And comparing Kraft to AB is apples and oranges. Kraft is a dumb, dirty old man, but he is the boss and doesn't have a contract to violate. AB on the other hand was fired from his last gig for not following the rules and/or violating his contract, and he couldn't operate by the simple rules of keep your mouth shut and fly right in order to stick with the Pats. He arguably hid the fact that there was at least one woman accusing him of rape that was about to go public from the Pats, and then made a suspension from the league more likely by failing to keep his big mouth (and/or twitter account) shut. None of us is without fault, but none of us who expect to stay employed at a job where we are already on thin ice sends texts to someone that essentially say, "I know where you live and that you have kids," and expect our boss to be okay with that.Fire his ass but pay him though. Was that what Kraft was thinking? AB is just stupid, but tell me those who among us are without fault. Even the owner thought visiting Asian parlors for rub da dum ba was such a great idea so much that he went the second day.
More like the Big Lemeowski, amiright?I'm derailing this thread.

Here is our new left tackle
A nearly 30-pound cat named the Big Lebowski is looking for a home
The texts were clearly an attempt to intimidate a possible witness. One point I've not seen brought up here yet is that the woman AB texted could have possibly been called as a witness to his rape civil trial. In fact, it's likely she would have. And so there was possible criminal liability there on AB's part.
Biffins is a joke.
show me the link that the league or pats told AB not to text the artist..doesn't existOk, follow along...
AB - was- not- let - go- for- the- rape- charges!!!
He was let go for texting the woman, when told not to, BY THE NFL AND THE PATS!!!!
That's the story that was on virtually EVER news feed.
Why do people keep saying Kraft got rid of him over morals??
Just one reliable link would work for me.
I'm on my phone right now and unable to link anything. But when I got home I'll show you plenty. Just Google "Antonio Brown accusers lawyer told NFL and Pats to stop him texting her".show me the link that the league or pats told AB not to text the artist..doesn't exist
nope, that was after he texted her the first timeI'm on my phone right now and unable to link anything. But when I got home I'll show you plenty. Just Google "Antonio Brown accusers lawyer told NFL and Pats to stop him texting her".
You will find plenty.
On the other hand....?
I think getting caught at a jack shack and being accused of rape, and being sexually inappropriate, and texting pictures of your accusers children are two different things.

why not hold AB and see what happens? Maybe the league puts him on the exempt list, maybe they don't. Looks like krafty bob was trying to save $9m, but will probably end up having to pay that guarantee anyway. The text thing would have blown over in less than a week..he panicked..but hey Ryan Grant is coming in for a visit...
It's already blown over. Media is just discussing now where AB lands next. Kraft already blew his load.
