Tom is ordering the moving van as we speak

What we have just witnessed is the masses have spoken and the Pats have capitulated. Unless there is something major to come out, this has set a nasty precedent. The media as a whole have driven a player from NE, yet whimpered about Tyreek Hill and let it go due to the threat the Chiefs pose to the Pats.

The media, and yes also the Boston loser media have accomplished what other NFL teams couldn’t. Knocked the Pats down a notch. I’d add in the plethora of Pats fans who agreed with them. Tweets? Tweets are the problem now?

Yet audio was “taken out of context”. Congrats to all who added to the flames here and elsewhere. God forbid the same happens to you.
Sorry this is ridiculous. You know what the difference between Hill and this is?

Hill kept his mouth shut and let the story die down as much as he could have and didn't give fuel to the fire and let plausible deniability do the rest. Hill didn't have another accuser come out unsolicited asking for no money or no charges just to say "yes this is his behavior". Hill didn't go against his team, the league and his lawyers advice.

He brought this on himself. He took a bad situation and made it worse and didn't listen to anyone who was on his side.

Although I do wonder if we may wish we had kept DT for depth purposes.

And to extrapolate on that, I wonder how the whole DT/Brown dynamic affected Harry.

If the team knew that both DT and Brown would not be on the roster come 09/20, would Harry have been placed on IR in the first place? He was practicing towards the end of camp. Hard to say.

Could still argue that signing Brown was ultimately a good thing. Kept him away from a team like the Chiefs and given all that has come to light over the past few days I suspect none of the other 31 teams will touch him for the foreseeable future.
Thomas isn’t healthy. If he was we would have kept him.

Brown will get a plaque in the Patsfans HOF for having the thread with the highest page count to number of days on the team ratio in history.

Not surprised, and not disappointed.

So let me get this straight - the Patriots get ZERO cap space for this so now they can’t even get Ramsey or Williams?

This man is being accused of rape. If I were being accused and I knew damned well I didn’t do anything, I can’t say for sure that I wouldn’t go crazy and try to prove the people accusing me were lying scumbags trying to take away my livelihood.

He sent a text message trying to prove his innocence that was then brought to light in order to make him look bad— and it worked. Look at all of you doing a 180 simply because he tried to defend himself, himself. The guy doesn’t seem very smart and he very well may be suffering from CTE but ************, he is being accused of probably the second worst crime known to man. I don’t blame him at all for that text.

And here we are as a society enabling these people to claim rape that may not have happened because we then attempt to leave these people out to dry.

Without any evidence and only words, Nike drops him. He tries (in his own silly way) to prove the other accuser is simply looking for money, we get rid of him. The court of public opinion has ruined this guy— AND WE DON’T KNOW IF HE DID WHAT HE’S BEING ACCUSED OF.

This is my problem. If it’s that easy to ruin someone with allegations, why do we continue to allow this to happen? We are all complicit. There’s been case after case after case of false rape/sexual assault cases against Black men in this country and we continue to allow it to happen. I am ****ing done.
All he had to do was STFU, that is all. Allow his lawyers to earn their money, but then reading those stories about him maybe he is stiffing the lawyers too. They didn't cut him after the original lawsuit, they didn't cut him after the story came out a few days ago. I am pretty sure it was after his dimwitted attempt at texting the anonymous person in the SI story that did him in.

Played your way to get out of Oakland to be on a team with the best qb and hc and nfl history and couldn’t stfu and get with the program. You don’t deserve to play football.

You mean the existing stuff wasn't enough?

I meant criminal. As far as I know he hasn't been charged with a crime yet. Perhaps he's getting charged. Or Belichick just didn't want to be on the hook for the 5 million.

Lousy person, great player. I admit that I was looking forward to seeing what he and Brady would do together.

I got to see him live in Miami and he was exciting to watch. I hope he gets his act together since it would be a shame to waste so much talent.

Go Pats

What do you mean by developed? New stuff. I doubt that. I think the pats just gave up and released him.

I mean that he practiced. He wasn't cut until after practice. BB's presser stated that the team was looking into some things. You likely don't risk the guy getting injured if you're definitely cutting him.

So, by looking at the pieces, the idea that something developed, post-practice seems the best fit.
