Good call taking the gamble, good call cutting ties.

Now get ready for media hand-wringing, like when Josh G was suspended last year. The "they took the risk and they are paying the price." Here's a fresh example:

I hope she is only asking in financial terms here. Because there seems to be a suggestion that this will turn out to be detrimental to the success of the team where it matters. It won't.

capspace remains the same.

Felger and Mazz must be nutting on their laptops.

So where does this put our offense compared to the chiefs offense?

Nice job, bowing to the media mob....**** you Kraft and your happy endings....

Now we'll see how smart it was to bend the knee to the fake news media once Gordon gets suspended again and your 4th receiver is Matthew Slater

I know that you like to troll, but let's have you at least acknowledge the obvious:

  1. The NFL had a response to the texts. It was not just the media mob.
  2. Brown practiced today, so something developed from the time that practice ended to now that was the trigger.

Well that was fun

That’s a fireable offense?
It is if we can’t trust the guy to do what Bill says. He’s a loose cannon and could go off at any moment.

Well at least I can tell the hypocritical haters out there to GFY now. So that is an improvement on this situation.

If he'd shut up and let the legal process work I'd agree with you. He couldn't keep his mouth shut and that's the end of that.

It was one of the conditions of his signing, I'm sure. Stay off social media and don't rise to the drama. Brown was incapable of that.

This man is being accused of rape. If I were being accused and I knew damned well I didn’t do anything, I can’t say for sure that I wouldn’t go crazy and try to prove the people accusing me were lying scumbags trying to take away my livelihood.

He sent a text message trying to prove his innocence that was then brought to light in order to make him look bad— and it worked. Look at all of you doing a 180 simply because he tried to defend himself, himself. The guy doesn’t seem very smart and he very well may be suffering from CTE but ************, he is being accused of probably the second worst crime known to man. I don’t blame him at all for that text.

And here we are as a society enabling these people to claim rape that may not have happened because we then attempt to leave these people out to dry.

Without any evidence and only words, Nike drops him. He tries (in his own silly way) to prove the other accuser is simply looking for money, we get rid of him. The court of public opinion has ruined this guy— AND WE DON’T KNOW IF HE DID WHAT HE’S BEING ACCUSED OF.

This is my problem. If it’s that easy to ruin someone with allegations, why do we continue to allow this to happen? We are all complicit. There’s been case after case after case of false rape/sexual assault cases against Black men in this country and we continue to allow it to happen. I am ****ing done.

Look at how Gordon handled himself vs how AB did. Gordon is a guy who isnt a scumbag but made some terrible decisions. He truly wanted to better himself so we gave him a chance and he stuck. AB is a total scumbag and I've known that for years.
I’m sick of hearing this **** about Josh Gordon. He failed drug tests, is that a terrible decision? Addiction is an unfortunately common self inflicted condition, it doesn’t make someone a bad person at all.

Stop listening to Felger. The way he basically mocks Gordon and makes him out to be an a-hole because he has an addiction (yet never hurt anyone) is sickening to listen to.

If someone posted pictures of my kids to try to 'intimidate' me. sway me, whatever, I would shoot him. He's getting off easy in my opinion.

Didn't Klemko say something on 98.5 this morning about possible criminal charges coming soon? Maybe there really is something to that and NE knew about it.

Sorry but I’m 100% against the team on this move.

They just gave the accusers exactly what they wanted— pilloried by the court of the public. Ruin a man’s livelihood with words. Thanks.

This is despicable and I’m not happy with this move.

All he had to do was not do something incredibly stupid like contact his accuser in a group text and berate her. He did this to himself. Even if he is innocent he gave the league the ammo to suspend him and he gave the Patriots no cover to let it just play out

What do you mean by developed? New stuff. I doubt that. I think the pats just gave up and released him.

Really? This guy couldn't simply STFU for the course of an NFL season and the playoffs and get his big payday afterwards? WTF?

Our offense would have been epic.
