Anyone who thinks they aren't heavily discussing what to do with him right now, whether it's a matter of him being cut, suspended, etc., isn't being truthful with themselves. It all hangs in the balance today.

Belichick was uncharacteristically thrown a little by that question. You usually see him much more confident in his approach and answers.

I didn’t take much from it. I think he’s pissed that brown went to this woman but i expect him to play on Sunday. We shall see.

No I am talking about someone sending a text to someone who publicly criticized them.
If you want to cut brown because of who is it what he did, fine. But dont take something relatively innocuous and make it out to be more than it is because it was sensationalized by the media.

That's just it. It's not "innocuous". When you send a text that is clearly a 'hint hint, imma make trouble for you' text to someone who has accused you of inappropriate sexual advances, it makes the accusation look legitimate. Otherwise, everybody knows what you do if you're in AB's shoes is deny and let it go away on its own. Not send veiled threats to the accuser, with pics of her kids in tow.

There has never been so much consensus in the media on an issue - that Brown should be suspended or place on exempt list - that's how I KNOW I'm doing the right thing by wanting him to play and tear it the F up...My football players need not be choirboys...until Brown is charged with a crime, he plays...

It really is amazing to see all these media clown shows - Phil Perry, Bert Breer, Tom Giles, Marc Bertrand, etc, almost BEGGING for Goodell to take action...and now they've started demeaning fans that want this to play out....

Suspend him because he’s sending some guy to to air this woman’s dirty laundry. Lol. Seriously these sports writers are reaching when it comes to brown.

What sexual advances? Plz tell me? The guy was in a freaking towel! Did he say something like i want to f u or whatever. She send a picture of her kids with her on it. He said negative stuff on it. He probably got it from her social media page. All those texts don’t sound threatening and again what did she expect after she let SI air the story out in the magazine. A story that’s old already.

You are misconstruing the context.

I am not talking about how the act “colors” brown, i am talking about Browns misdeeds coloring the view of what he did.

In other words all of browns actions color your opinion of him.
But someone’s past and who they are should not color your opinion of whether what they did is wrong.
2 people doing the same thing are either wrong to do it or not. Who they are should but color that view.
