Also, there’s plenty of stuff in that SI piece directly sourced from police reports and court documents that show what a pretty questionable guy Brown is.

This is a giant smear campaign at this rate.

I know Bill won't, but I seriously hope Kraft doesn't cave under SJW pressure.

I guess I’d like to know if he was just coming outta the shower (which is a weird move..) or if the towel was literally just covering his **** (that’s a sentence I’d never thought I’d type). Might not be rape, but it’s definitely not good if he did the later.
Well it’s an accusation and the story of the accuser does not equal a crime.

I honestly could not care less about ABs character. I’ve long ago pretty much concluded he’s an idiot and an ***hole.
I care about him being eligible to wear the laundry and contribute to a championship.

Whatever he is playing or not playing for the patriots isn’t changing that. I will add, I don’t live in the community, so I’m not considering the view point of “I don’t want that guy living near me”. I also wouldn’t let my daughters anywhere near him. But my interest is about him contributing on the field, no more,no less

non story

Can we at least hear her out first..? Is there a criminal complaint for this one?
Did you even bother to read the article? The supposed sexual misconduct consists of AB talking to the woman covering himself only with a small towel, while she was painting a mural in his house. As in, she's not even alleging that he touched her, or even exposed himself to her.

She says he owes her money, which seems completely believable. But isn't it slightly ironic that she never felt compelled to try to bring her story to the national media before now?

If I were AB I would sue the crap out of SI for defamation and character assassination. The article makes clear from the start, in a shockingly pathetic way that in and of itself is glaring evidence of how greatly journalism has deteriorated just in the last twenty years, that the SI staff set out with the express intent to dredge up all the dirt they could on him, i.e. to harm him.

Oh he clearly is a complete turd. But a hell of a football player. Both of those were well known before any of these stories came out.

There was nothing in the article about this woman bringing sexual charges against Brown that I saw

Too many media outlets are publishing articles and books on things never proven. Just like the book the N.Y. Times just released

No one should pay a price over Accusations or books

For stuff like this, it's all "he said/she said."

It seems like whether a complaining witness is "credible" simply boils down your own personal bias.

For the Kavanaugh hearing, look at how the media kept saying how "credible" the complaining witness. I watched the hearing and I saw nothing credible about her at all. I don't even particularly like Kavanaugh as a judge but I felt sorry for the guy.

It's time for the City of Pittsburgh to issue another denial of investigation

If you were AB you would put your character on trial? Seriously?

Too many missing details. Was AB acting as a nude canvas for this painter?

Fair enough. James Harrison did worse things and we had him.

Could be. Could look at it as either piling on or felt more safe to share her story. Based on what we have, sounds difficult for AB to be in trouble for this charge too.

LOL this is a total smear campaign.

Absolute non-story, but the sharks want to come out and swim.

NOT BUYING IT.

As a person I’d want nothing to do with either. As a football fan they are good.

It seems like these women feel disrespected, probably legitimately. But that doesn't mean he is a felon. First woman went back multiple times. Now second woman hops aboard the possible gravy train.
For the respect and dignity of actual victims of sexual assault, I don't put any of weight into this garbage.

"this garbage"???

Exposing yourself non-consensually to a contractor working at your house is pretty garbage in my book. I guess you could argue that the towel means Brown didn't actually entirely expose himself, but think the intent/implication is clear.

Does it rise to the level of physical/forcible assault/rape? No, but it's surely sexual harassment and is 100% a "garbage" thing to do.

It's not a binary, zero-sum game of determining who is and isn't an "actual victim of sexual assault". If these allegations are true then this woman is a legitimate, "actual" victim of sexual harassment.

We have to stop downplaying this stuff. These responses are a perfect example of why there's a social movement around these issues.

I ask the board as a whole: if that was your daughter, sister, or mother painting and Brown shows up wearing nothing but a hand-towel over his junk and strikes up a conversation, how would you feel about the situation? Just some food for thought.

Please explain why these allegations are an "absolute non-story", and as a whole are a smear campaign.

Presumably you have evidence that indicates these stories are fabricated, and that the allegations are part of some greater, smear campaign conspiracy?

AB is nothing but bad drama.

yay.......more AB news for the year
