I gamepass'd the Dolphins vs Ravens game.....my thoughts...

Offense: I'm going on record saying the Dolphins Oline is by far the worse in the NFL. The offense has some ok skill players at WR and RB...Fitzmagic has on occasion had some above average games. But this Oline is so bad...none of it is going to matter...pass protection doesn't exist...their going to to get Fitz and Rosen killed.

Fitzpatrick seems like a cornerstone piece you build a defense around. A real leader on the field.

Maybe he's a Milloy-esque problem in the locker room who knows, but I can't think of a worse start to a coach's tenure than Flores'.

I think the thought is, if the Dolphins are going to be 'good' again in 3 years after the rebuild, are you going to want a Fitzpatrick making big money, or would you want the draft capital to spend on similar, and younger, talent?

I get the people jumping on the Dolphins for letting Fitzpatrick go, but if you're doing a full blow-up rebuild, rule #1 is 'get everything you can for people who won't be here once its turned around'. Exhibit A was Laremy Turnstile.and Stills, and now Fitzpatrick. If they can get a big return for Howard, it will be done.

Keep hope alive, though I think Bill would take him even if he were not playing to help him acclimate and keep Flores guessing. He dressed LaCosse last week and didn’t play him, but he is injured and we have only 1 healthy TE. If he dresses AB, I expect him to play.
