Any point in going to Gillette outside game day?

make sure you try the hookers and blow...

Thanks for the recommendations everyone! Stopped into the HoF and had a good time. Might be time to update the interactive playbook exhibit though...BB looked like he'd just scrawled something about being HC of the NYJ on a napkin a couple days before he recorded the video for it.

Ah, ok, thanks. There was a web site saying it was only open before a game.
whatever you do. don't eat at the red wing. Unless you really love onion rings. Just order the scallop plate and you will get a mountain of onion rings so big you can ski down. Don't expect many scallops.

Davios is quite good.

Bar Louie sucks.

The HOF is awesome and takes about 99 minutes IME. As are the stadium views.

You will love the HOF. allow AT LEAST 1 hour or more if you're relaxed. Lots to see.

I will have 3 days to explore the area. It's my getaway before winter arrives. :)

Couldn't disagree more. Red Wing is awesome!

its awful. i was so pissed off I called when i got home to complain after opening my so called scallop plate to see 90 percent onion rings. What a rip off. i hate that place. and it cost 20 something bucks. They suck.

Do you need to be pliable?

Tobey Keith's closed down abruptly a few months ago. I think something else is going in there. I like both Skip Jack's (seafood) and Tavolino (Italian), and Davio's is good too. I have never been to Bar Louie, but several posters on here swear by it for early game day.
Bar Louie seems to have the most seating available in PP during game day and they don't hassle you to leave after a half hour like other establishments if the place is full. The food there is decent and they have a huge variety of stuff on tap ... Is CBS Scene still there or is it something else now? Lots of seating there as well.

For a chain I also like Davios, Good food, nice atmosphere, slightly expensive.

I wish they brought in some non chains, but I think the rent/location probably lends itself to that model, and it is what is. Still better than the unpaved gravel lots of old

Glad you went!

There's nothing at Patriot Place that you can't find anywhere else other than the HOF (or at least find very similar). The HOF is awesome; wonder if they've updated the movie to include last 2 SB....last time I was there was quite some time after the Atlanta SB win and movie had not been updated...

How can they update - they were waiting for your “Pitchers and Catchers” from that night, you complete fraud.
