[Speculation] Gronk coming home?

I never thought I'd say this, but this stuff from Gronk is getting a little tiresome.
you say "this stuff" like you are 100 percent sure he is not going to come back and he is just trolling. I think it literally is a struggle for him not to be in the action. There will be fewer moments like opening night for him where he gets the attention.

Exactly. It's around $9.5m and the sooner he plays it's closer to $9.5m.

Unless they restructure it... somehow

When I saw that you quoted me I was sure you were going to say " cut Dorsett ". Haha

With the Cast we have, I doubt our receivers and TEs can get hit unless they decide to initial contact. AB's juke level is %200, Jules is at %150, it will be like playing catch for Brady if Gronk somehow joins this cast. OL is now the only weakness. Brady will need just about 3 secs for people to be wide wide open with no one in their zip code.

Meanwhile, I give you our “blocking” TE:

I’m just saying, the dude could probably just get clean long enough to come back and then self-medicate as needed for the half-season he’s on the team. Are they gonna drug test him in the span of 8-ish games? Guess they could, but he could easily appeal and run out the clock and then just retire again before he faced serious ramifications. And it would be his first offense anyway so he could take the 1 game if he had to.

I’m just spitballing but it makes sense in my head.

Convert Gilmore's, McCourty's and Hightower's salary for this year into a signing bonus.

So that would be heading into an all in for this season mode by pushing some of the cap spending down the road. I don't mind and maybe they are but they're going to have to pay up at some time.

I guess they're somewhat comfortable doing that with the AB signing but how much further would they go?

No, I didn't mean that at all. I guess I should have been clearer. I'm not 100% sure either way whatsover. But, I agree with aluminum seats that he's either coming back or he's trolling. Maybe he's not sure which, but I'm tired of the back and forth from him. But, that's just me.

I don't think he is going to be able to resist

Yea, that's just it. This season could be the best FB party ever, and Gronk would hate to miss a good party. I just thought his return would be more of a mid-season event....unless he's just messing with everyone at this time.

Man, we could really use his blocking even if he weren’t going to give us anything else.

It’s probably just him going on Pardon My Take tomorrow and messing with people. I do think he returns, but I can almost guarantee you he’s on PMT tomorrow and they’ve done **** like this before.

Attention. Whore

I mentioned in the all-22 thread that I saw Gordon take on more and more of what Gronk used to do.

Flash blocks like a TE and many CBs will whiff trying to tackle him, I’d guess he’s at 235-240.

I'll start getting my hopes up if we see him noticeably gaining weight, not when he trolls everyone with emojis.
