It has always been contended that he does a very good job at self promotion and subsequently the money flows toward him...

9 Seasons not that terribly short. Remember he was 20 his rookie year. 79 career TDs pretty excellent

I get that but I'd rather see him healthy out there than our team being a couple % better. Just my personal pov. Not to mention that I think after last years SB his tank is empty.

How do you figure? His 2018 cap is $11,671,875. After last year's rework his base went to$9 million for 2019 plus $750k in bonuses. We are carrying $2 million in dead money. I suppose if he rejoined late, the prorate would be less but he still would need another rework/extension which may not make sense for one more run in 2019. Just saying.
