Yet another player calling that non deidcated dog who only cares about cash a leader on the team. Clearly Jabbar doesn't know what some posters know.

"Which brings us back to the newfound enthusiasm. Gaffney & Co. say they know when to turn it on and off. And if they don’t, they get reminded.

“That’s why it’s good to have those guys like the Rodneys, the Vrabels, Tommy, Seymour,” he said. “We can kind of look at them. If they’re smiling, we’re all right. Once they start looking serious, then OK, it’s time to get serious.”

I've seen sandlot games where dislocated shoulders were popped back in and and play continued. I've seen pickup games where players knew they'd torn up their knee and kept trying to play anyway. I've seen basketball games where the ball broke multiple fingers of a person's hand and that person kept playing. What separates the pro player from the non-pro isn't the willingness to play through pain or injury, it's the talent/drive/fortune to be getting paid money to do what others would willingly do for free.

What in blazes does this BS have to do with Seymour.

It's common knowledge Seymour played with a knee that needed an operation, sprained ankle and a hyper extended elbow that required him to wear a piece of furniture on his arm at the same time last year.

At the minimum. It's not like the Pats are known for giving out injury information.

If your friends are playing amateur sports with broken fingers and dislocated shoulders, there's a word for them.

They are morons.

If any of this is true, which of course it isn't.

There should be a word for blowhards that call pro athletes playing through serious injuries wimps, while they shart themselves reaching for the dropped sour cream and cheddar chips from their recliner.

Their probably just isn't any one word absurd enough to do it justice.

By the way blowhard, please let me know when you want to scrimmage against some double and triple teams of 300-350 lb. offensive linemen because I want to watch.

Heck, I'll even take it easy on you and let you go one on one against Kevin Mawae.

Didn't we have this thread a month before the season started, and just before camp? Almost all here were sure that the media were a bunch of idiots regarding information about Seymour, and that he would be back for the preseason, and he certainly wouldn't be put on the PUP list.

Face it. The media has more information than we do.

Well, they're supposed to (it's their job).

I will say they don't always but act like they do, just like these boards.

They should have a certain amount of integrity, but only Reiss does in this market, IMO.

True...again I am not sure Tomase has any inside correct sources...

I don't know who said it, but if it's Tomase I know it's not true.

Schefter is reporting Seymour to be back sooner rather than later. Hmmm, who should I trust, Schefter or douchebag Tomase?
