too busy kvetching about A Brown...I feel like no one in the Pats media is talking about this.

The Media can never report on Pats injuries as the team never shares anything.... but if it is SEASON ENDING...we usually know right about now. So, that is kinda the good news...that it isn't BAD NEWS.....
In the worst case scenario, I have Scar pulling someone off the Foxborough High School squad and turning them into a serviceable RT.
How can you know how long without knowing what the injury is?My guess it's anywhere from 6-8 weeks
Still no news or reports of him going to the hospital for more test.
I would think that would be a good thing at this point.

You would think so, but it took forever to find out about Derek Rivers. The Media can never report on Pats injuries as the team never shares anything.... but if it is SEASON ENDING...we usually know right about now. So, that is kinda the good news...that it isn't BAD NEWS.....
Preseasons is a little different. You think they would want to cut Obi today to find out Cannon IR tomorrow? Might not matter as they'd need another OL but just using to make point things move faster in regular season. Hopefully we dodged a bullet we'd all like to hear a report of good news until then we all guessing. You would think so, but it took forever to find out about Derek Rivers.

They already know what's wrong with Cannon. No way they would have cut Obi without knowing exactly what Cannon's status is. I take that as a good sign.

X-Ray? That's the initial course of diagnostics. In 2019 we have MRI machines now.Doubt they know the severity of Cannon's injury, the Pats needed room for AB today. Cannon's situation could easily drag on for a few more days until some of the swelling goes down and the X-ray could give a more accurate reading of the degree of damage.
The one good sign is it's probably not season ending, cause that is "generally" obvious in the first 24 hours.
I think it is related to Cannon being on the shelf. More guys play C than T. Also needs to learn the calls.Doesn’t that speak more to confidence in Karras than anything else? Unless he plays tackle as well.
Yes, you are correct, I should have said "diagnostics imaging machine" and yet still not that great at detecting severity of damage when a significant amount of inflammation is present. We should know the results soon.X-Ray? That's the initial course of diagnostics. In 2019 we have MRI machines now.
I'm 100% positive they have a good idea what Cannon's status is
Or it speaks to it no practice in Monday so no transaction til Tuesday.Doesn’t that speak more to confidence in Karras than anything else? Unless he plays tackle as well.
