It’s either going to blow up in bill’s face or AB us going to chill out
So this will either work out, or not work out? Really going out on a limb!

"In New England news from last night, hospital emergency rooms were overwhelmed by phone calls from worried men saying 'But it's been way more than four hours!'."

I still can’t believe they have the best WR this decade motivated on a 1 year deal.

I find those conspiracy theories pretty silly. No one could have predicted if the Raiders would actually release him over some of the **** he did. And all of it happened less than 24h before W1 starts in proper.

But of course because it involves the Pats..

I can see why the Chiefs are going nuts. But why the Colts? Not like the Colts have a real shot at the Super Bowl this year with Jacoby Brissett as their QB.

Cause everything the Pats do owns those snowflakes. Mommie has to check under their beds for the Evil Hoodie every night

I think Thomas will be more than fine as a #3. I have never been a huge fan of his since he is soft as shot, but drawing the second or third CB and limiting his role might work out more than fine for the Pats. His days as a #1 are definitely done and I question whether he is really even a starter at this point. Luckily, other than tomorrow, the Pats may never have to rely on him as a starter.

I think you're selling DT a little short Rob it's not like he's had all world QB's throwing to him and he still produced. I think he's far from done and might be a solid #2 now.

My guess is what he means is that he wanted to sign with the Pats in free agency. But of course, Belichick would have never given Brown the contract the Raiders did.

Rosenhaus and Bill had conversations back in the spring. That laid the foundation for this deal.
I think they have a good relationship. Rosenhaus understands BB. Easy to work things out quickly.

If Gunner's the casualty, i feel bad for the kid.

"Hey gunner, we're gonna have to let you go... wait, hold on. Nevermind, welcome to the team."
(2 weeks later)
"Hey gunner, about what we said before... yeah, uh.. this is awkward."

He'll get one regular season game check. Hopefully, he makes it to our practice squad. I think it will do him a lot off good to spend the season both learning the WR position and bulking up. He looks a little scrawny to me (by NFL standards).

Why?
Arguably the most talented team we've seen in New England. Brown, 11, Gordon is as good as it gets. Add in the rest of the crew & we're setting records again.

Imagine what this offense could do against a defense that knows their offense isnt scoring more than 20-25 points. Who has the personnel to stop us?
21 (Brown, Gordon, Sony, White)
Too much for teams.

We give Brady what we've all wanted whether we admit or not. Top tier, elite weapons. They might be troubled but when healthy, heads on straight, both Brown & Gordon are WR1 types. Bill invested in the future & got him weapons that can win tomorrow.

Truth be told Gordon & Brown are almost insurance for each other. We really only need one to work out. If both do we're walking up & down the field.

He's been a clown but now hes in NE. There isnt a better spot. More capable QB, OC & HC in the business. Now hes a good problem.

And here I was thinking that CB Jonathan Jones's extension was big news...

I think after another Achilles surgery and being almost 32, I am assuming he will be a shell of himself.

For all we heard through the grapevine the team was fine with taking on the traded contract but the Steelers didn't want to send him directly to their direct opponents unless BB would overpay in terms of picks.

Either way.. it is what it is now. I won't complain and actually enjoy how thoroughly in the heads of people all over the league BB is.

It's crazy how many on Chief's Planet wish injury on Patriots players. Is that a common thing amongst NFL fanbases, or just a few bad apples?

I actually laughed out loud when I read Robert Weathers post this on Chief's Planet, which was met with f-bombs and people telling him to step in front of a train.

That's all I got.

Perhaps the greatest top 3...

Ever.
Your putrid Jete travel to Foxboro in 15 days. Do you think any cornerbacks will want to make the trip?
