I’m all out of popcorn after reading all this....

They all had their warts but none of them put themselves above the team

Blount threw a temper tantrum and walked off the field of a game because he wasn't happy with his touches.

Randy Moss did the same thing in Minnesota and wasn't there video of him intentionally dogging it on the field in Oakland?

That would probably get Gronk out of retirement. How could you resist playing with that lineup?
could we create cap room for him to actually come out of retirement?

Good thing dreaming is free for those who are mentally masturbating at the thought of JE, AB, JG, DT at WR for the Pats. Lmao.

I am sorry but anyone who thinks AB on a team friendly one year deal would be bad for the patriots is an idiot.

Eh...I don't think someone who thinks that is an idiot. There is the locker room aspect of this and Belichick has always seemed to manage the roster with some consideration towards how it will impact the locker room. If they cut someone that is popular in the locker room and who has put in the work to try to earn his spot to bring in a guy who looks like a **** show in the making it'll probably go over like a wet fart.

I'm on board, don't get me wrong, but I can see some validity to the concerns and I don't think it is as simple as 'sign him to a safe deal and cut him if things go bad' because even bringing him in will probably be interpreted by a lot of ways by the employees in the locker room.

MY CHOICES FOR DREW/AB
PHI
NE
DAL

obviously with serious playoff and SB bonuses

I don't think that the patriots will win this battle. But, if we did, Brady would quickly be on the horn to Gronk.
You think it’s going to be a battle to get him?
I think he will have to beg for a job (by begging I mean make commitments to not act like a douche and accept incentive heavy deal).

Why would he care if it’s a contender? Winning means nothing to him.

My most-likely landing spot for him is KC because you know he wants to stick it to the Raiders more than anyone else right now. I just hope it ends up working out about as well as Sammy Watkins.

It is tough to determine the best fit for Brown because none of us really know what his top priority is. If he wants an f-you tour against his former team and to compete for a championship, NE is his best bet. However, Brown's me-first history (non-stop social media, extreme jealousy of teammate, whining when not getting enough targets) makes me consider this option simply not viable.

Imagine Brown's reaction if the gameplan calls for him to be a decoy or simply the flow of the game results in him not getting targets. There is just no evidence to suggest he is even capable of setting aside his ego and constant need for attention.

As long as he doesnt go to kc
Antonio Brown is radioactive. As versatile and talented as he is, your team becomes the football equivalent of Chernobyl when you sign him.

I watched the HBO miniseries. You don't mess with radiation. You just don't.

He wouldn’t be able to until Week 2 anyway.
.
Sure but did anyone tell AB that? Cell coverage is dodgy over NW Nevada, where he is currently floating.

There are 50 messages from Drew R. waiting for him when he touches down in Gillette

I hope he signs with some NFC team or someone completely irrelevant. Him ending up in KC would be a problem even for a DB group like ours.

Also I am not sure he really wants to move to ****ing Kansas City.

How could you possibly know this? I think it is more likely that after having played with Big Ben and being in playoff runs that after seeing DC and the raiders, that he decided he wanted out. You can want $$ and also want to be on a winning team. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

I think we should sign him to a $60 million dollar contract, all guaranteed

whats the worst that could happen

Someone is likely to sign him in time to be able to play Game 2, or Game 3 at the latest.

Now is that a 1 year deal or a 2 year deal?

Please report to the treatment room for a 'random' drug test. :D
