Nesn has a picture of Harrt suited up at practice today doesn't that rule out him going to IR?
No. There is no rule about a player who stretches at practice being ineligible for IR. But if they were planning to IR him and sign DT I think you would want DT at practice.

Not until after 4pm. My thinking, when they cut DT was that they are planning to ST IR someone, and that can only happen after 4pm today. My guess is Calhoun.

DT dosent have to sign with anyone if he gets an offer

Exactly.. he's vested so he doesn't have to pass through waivers. I guarantee you there were winks and nudges on both sides along the side of "We'll bring you back, so don't sign with anyone."

Ok that makes sense. Calhoun was my guess too, although he also was at practice. Of course that was 2 hours ago.

Tweet deleted. What did it say?
It said that Gunner had DT’s locker....apparently that was a mistake & Thomas’ locker is still open...with one of his helmets resident.

Seriously ... you had one job to do....counting lockers. As if their wasn't enough stress from DT's release ...

Gunner can also confuse reporters with his boyish charm.

Somebody had the sniffles at practice today.... somebody.....anybody?

During the stretching portion, maybe. But that's all reporters are allowed to look at. Who knows what happened afterwards.

Who is stressed about DT's release other than people who live in this forum? I'm sure DT's not sweating it.

At least one game this season better end with the team carrying Gunner off on their shoulders or I want my money back.

I would say he needs to start working a full Edelman but I'm not sure he is old enough yet to grow one.

He hasn't even left the building...but I'm concerned for those that made their way to the roof top.

Why the delay? Perhaps, they haven’t decided which player is most in need of being put on IR, and they’re delaying the decision as long as possible to make the right decision. Why IR Harry when he can be participating fully in four weeks when Calhoun’s full recovery may take nine weeks, or vice versa? Test them in a couple of practices and see how they respond. Most likely, they will not start installing the game plan until Wednesday, so what’s the hurry.

They had a game Thursday and didn’t practice Friday or Saturday. Bb made a comment that all the injured guys were improving but when they got back on the practice field today they could assess it. Injury situations can change daily despite the cutdown being a hard deadline.
Also we have all 3 of our backup OL attending their first patriots practice today, so evaluation continues.

I’m hoping that third preseason game was a key moment in the Brady-Dorsett combo. Brady has never zeroed in on Dorsett like that and used him as his most trusted receiver. I wanted Dorsett to get a lot more targets last year that went to Hogan. If he and Brady can build off of this, there could be potential for an in-season extension. Getting him on a 2.6M contract was a very underrated offseason move and seems ripe for a team friendly extension.

Hogan was massively disappointing last year unfortunately.
