Instead, you just read every last vowel in the available material. You create answers for the unlikeliest of questions. You plan for all contingencies. Seems like hes been lamenting over his lack of preparedness and being out-coached since February. I applaud his honesty, humility and willingness to admit mistakes but for God's Sake move on.

I think the best plan against the Pats for that particular Rams team should have been scorched earth attack, attack, attack offense. (I know kind of obvious, clueless opinion. "score a lot")

The fact is either their D was awesome or we were off big time offensively. Two TDs for that Rams team? Because of what the Rams D did, that was the Rams Super Bowl to lose.

PS. Flip side. Pats D only gave 3 points... That is a darn good Super Bowl formula for victory right there

While McVay was outcoached I think this story is being over played. In the end the Rams offense just didn't play well. Particularly Goff who had an awful game.

I think it's fair to say Goff's head was scrambled by BB significantly more than McVay's.

You missed this part:

It should be noted, McVay isn’t downtrodden when he says things like this. Instead, he comes off more like someone who is simultaneously upset with himself and itching to show that he won’t make the same mistake twice.

Those are the biggest hangovers of all. The Seahawks weren't the same after Malcolm Butler. The Falcons weren't the the same after 28-3. And frankly, the Patriots weren't the same after 16-1.
