When we were in Glasgow went to a Highland Games event in Gorsuch, very, very cool.. during the day there were three simultaneous events going on continually... "The Heavies", the Scottish Dancers and Bagpipe competition.. it was slice of Scottish life and probably not "staged" for tourists...

My late father was always so proud of his Scottish lineage that he loved reminding us to make sure our orange shirts were clean for school the next morning on St. Patricks Day. He would have been crushed by the news from Ancestry.com that we're more Irish than Scottish.
