One of my favorite names in hockey ever.

Right up there with Jordan Tootoo. Also came to enjoy Dean Kukan on the CBJs name, but only before I realized they were saying Kukan and Coupin (old Ron White reference)

Cheechoo: Great name, fan favorite, down to earth guy. He always looked forward to the big moose hunt and BBQ in his tribe's home in Moose Junction. Sharks had a retirement tribute for him last year and the fans brought their old train whistles. Sounded like 06-'08 for one night again.

Sharks had some playoff battles against Nashville circa '07-'08 and from then on the name Jordan Tootoo is forever associated with a-hole. But I agree his name is great.

I think the Canes threw in the towel in the middle of game 3. They were outshooting Boston 20-6 (!) but it translated into nothing but a scoreless tie.

Marchand is a ****. He's not a menace, though. I remember Raffi Torres headhunting every chance he got on every team he was on, then one day ending up on the Sharks. I hated him...and belated thanks to Boston for denying him a Cup in 2011, BTW. I just knew he'd eff it up on SJ and lo and behold he goes headhunting, getting his ass suspended in the process.

Give me Marchand on SJ every day of the week over a guy like Torres who truly deserves those types of articles.

Oh please. Marchand has been good all season. He's started reverting to his old ways in the playoffs because other players are targeting HIM with no repercussions. Just play the game, Marchand included. Dark ages my ***.

As dominating as games 2 and 4 were, the fact that they were able to weather such a storm in game 3 may make it my favorite of the series.

marchand is one of the best players in the league. if he's on your team. you love him. if not you hate him. if you are a GM. that's exactly what you want. marchand is a massive overachiever with a Brady like compete level.

and he makes mistakes sure, because he sometimes loses his cool/control

dirty would be calmly and cooly wanting to injure other players, marchand is not that, he's out of control at times which leads to dangerous actions, but dirty is different

when was the last time you saw a QB throwing a punch at anybody? cmon. marchand has Brady like compete level. punch or no punch. dirty or chippy. whatever you want to call it. his excellence cannot be denied. he had over 100 points this season. case closed. any fan that hates him. would be thrilled to have him join their team.
