2018-19 Stanley Cup - Bruins vs Blues

Connor Hughes - " Let the current state of the #Jets sink in:

They
1) Allowed Maccagnan to pick the head coach
2) Allowed Maccagnan to spend all their money in free agency
3) Allowed Maccagnan to run their draft

Now they’ve … fired Maccagnan

That’s incompetence like I’ve never seen before.:eek::eek:

Uh...wrong house.
The Jete suck thread is a few doors down

One more win to the cup....not a given yet. We have seen 0-3 come backs in the NHL.....I seem to recall this happening to us vs. the Philly Flyers in '09ish....

Yup, although I think it was '10.

'09 is the season the Canes came back and won in Game 7 (I think).

Just got tickets to tomorrow's game! It's like 30 minutes from my house prices are low, what a great opportunity!!!
I'm contemplating going to a game in ST Lousy if the Blues win.

Because the HC was at odds with the GM.

...and I bet the puck hit him right under the elbow pad on bare bone.

...and I bet I'm not the only one that gave an involuntary shudder at the thought of getting hit there

I know I did.

They say it was the hand but I don't think so.

Who do we want in the Sharks vs Blues series. Who do we match up better with?
I want St Louis to beat San Jose, not because I hold any animus towards Joe Thornton for playing his way out of Boston (I dropped that case after winning the SC in 2011), but because St Louis hasn't been to a cup final in 49! years, since...that's right...1970 vs Bobby Orr. That franchise is way, Way overdue for another appearance.

Damn shame about Wagner. He & Kuraly & Nordstrom were playing at a vintage Merlot Line-level during the POs. He'll be missed. Acciari isn't nearly the same calibre of player Wagner is, so this is definitely a step backwards.

I want the lesser goalie. I'll take Jones.

Greatest photo ever taken in sports history. Would not mind that rematch myself

Blues getting thoroughly outplayed through 1. May be an early night for me if this continues.

Meh, flat periods happen. I wouldn't abandon hope quite yet.

Win it for Wagner.

Hell of a block that could have been the tying goal.

Hopefully they do a bit better than when they tried to win it for Campbell.
