Pats coaching role updates

What I gathered from this is Josh Mcdaniels the unquestioned number 2 respected coach on this team.
I think we could see a smooth transition where Mcdaniels is HC Judge elevated to OC and Mayo as DC.
Thats a pretty strong staff
Now that being said I hope BB is coaching another 10 years however I don't see it.
I just hope he stays on as a team Advisor or as a GM.
When he's ready to step down.

But who’s the all important character coach/spiritual advisor?

I think he will step down once their is an unquestioned QBOTF on the roster.

So I guess I can assume Fraser was Schiano's guy and never officially made it on the books.

He could have replaced Bielema as the "Asst. to the HC". Or they could have hired him into a scouting position..

New England Patriots -- coaching roster

Dang. Hadn't realized how badly Flores cleaned us out. Of course after such a successful Superbowl defensively, especially considering the doubts in our defensive talent, Patriots defensive coaching personnel will be prized and get good job offers in other orgs but seriously -- yikes.

I'm sure BB has some plans to hire some good people before the preseason kicks off, and there's certainly plenty of time, but no matter how you slice it Steve is going to have a much bigger fingerprint on the 2019 team than he ever has before. If anyone slides into that Brian Flores role of being the unofficial DC it would almost have to be Bill's son -- so short of bringing in an actual DC, it's pretty much gonna pan out that way.

Personally I'm more than a little curious to see how he does.

Did you know we traded for Michael Bennett?

We've been wondering when you would catch on. ;)

Mayo quit already? Bielema too? Oh man!

Didn’t you JUST post a (cluelessly late) thread the other day that Jerod Mayo is a new defensive coach????

I think the obvious explanation is that Simpelton had to go into hiding but didn't want to arouse suspicion, necessitating an automated Patsfans posting system which takes posts queued up months ago and spreads then out over time.

That's the only possible explanation.

Ian has throttling mechanism?

Dude's better than I thought!

Just when you thought no one could be less self-aware than Andy, someone creates a subterranean level of it.

Wow.
A HC who failed badly in his only hc opportunity
A OC who never coached offense before
A DC who has never coached before

How is THAT a strong staff?
